Super skiing place

Great place to go skiing - right from the hotel door (well - a little uphill ;-) ). Nice old-school hotel - and a great breakfast. Nice clean rooms!

Ottima struttura da provare

Bellissimo albergo, curato e con personale molto gentile e disponibile (soprattutto il direttore) che ci ha consigliato anche sulle varie attività da fare. Centro benessere molto attrezzato. Ottima colazione; non avevamo trattamento mezza pensione, quindi non posso esprimermi in merito.

Schöner Skiurlaub, gutes Hotel

Das Spa und das Schwimmbad war sehr schön, leider gingen alle Gäste mit Badeanzug in die Sauna. Das Zimmer war sehr schön mit Balkon und BlicK auf die Berge, die Lage mit direkter Anbindung an die Piste und das gesamte Skigebiet ist super. Leider war der Frühstücksraum sehr groß und voll, ein Betrieb wie auf dem Bahnhof, zumal viele Familien anwesend sind. Die Auswahl an Wurst und Käse ist leider sehr eingeschränkt, dh. nur jeweils eine Sorte und immer die gleichen. Schade. Abendessen gabs als Buffet, welches wir jedoch nicht gebucht hatten. Ansonsten hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Service war gut, aber leider etwas unpersönlich.

I stayed here for one night while kayaking in Dimaro. The service was very good and the breakfast was extraordinary. The room was very big and the bathroom was clean and it was a big tub and o shower in one. I'll stay here next time I'm in the area.

poorly-run

Though the address of the hotel says "Madonna di Campiglio", in reality the hotel is a few kilometers away from this famous town. Our GPS could not find that address and we spend over an hour searching for the hotel. The hotel is large but totally lacks coziness typical for Alpine resort hotels. Though the underground garage was and remained absolutely empty, we were allocated the only parking space which was difficult to get into. Though the spa hours were till 8:30PM, at 7:40 we were refused entry - "too late." The hotel boasts "three restaurants" but dinner is only in one of them, only between 7:30 and 9:00 PM. Air in the spa was very chilly, as was water in the jacuzzy. The rooms small and not cozy. Overall, a hotel where the management did not care to make guests stay comfortable. Rather inexpensive but nonetheless was practically deserted despite the high season. Far from the town.
