"Hotel was location 10 minutes from McMaster University and about 15 from Hamilton Tiger Cats Stadium. It’s about an hour away from Niagara Falls. About 35-45 minutes from Toronto Pearson with no traffic of course. Great staff. I’ll definitely be staying here again."

"I loved everything about Rose Arden. I had a very comfortable overnight stay in a single room in a lovely home that was perfect for my visit with an old friend who lived nearby. It was great value and in a beautiful quiet location with an amazing view. The host couldn't have been more helpful. And the breakfast was wonderful. If I visit Hamilton again I’ll definitely want to stay at Rose Arden."

"I like staying at this property because it is in a convenient location for banks and stores like Shoppers Drug Mart, parking is plentiful, it’s great for dog owners to walk in a safe area, there are lots of food choices both take out and eat in restaurants within walking distance many are open later. "Staff on check-in and questions were amazing. I got upgraded to water-view from general room at no charge. The property and park nearby are absolutely stunning. Issues come from the room - the room was very obviously dated - tears in wallpaper, dents in walls, A/C not working (fan only), USB plug-ins missing the actual plug in so it doesn't work, TV with 480p presentation (my phone had better resolution to watch the game). Hotel is very obviously geared towards the location and event-hosting."

"The property seems to be properly maintained and the room was very clean. Breakfast was not included, but there is a Bistro in the lobby that serves good breakfast and sandwiches etc in the evening. There is plenty of parking, but it can be difficult to exit the parking lot sometimes due to heavy traffic."

"Stayed in the Beasley room for the night and it was exactly what we needed. Located in a lovely heritage building, the room and house is full of character. Super comfy and clean, both the room and common areas were very well kept. There are multiple well stocked washrooms and the kitchen looked recently installed or renovated. The staff was present, kind, and helpful. Would come back in a heartbeat!"
