"The heat wouldn't come on in my room at the annex building. I was moved to another room and the same issue. I ended having to go to the local dollar store and purchase a space heater to warm up the room. I didn't want to have to move my belongings again because I am handicap and am limited and it is painful to walk. "

"The door would not shut properly due to a strike plate that wasn’t fully attached. The tv was more like a computer monitor. The shower had a stained basin floor. Overall it is lipstick on a pig."

"I tried calling owner several times throughout day we were arriving to tell them we were going to be close to end of check in time. No one answered and voice mail box was full so couldn’t leave a message. I messaged the owner thru Expedia as well with no response. We got there and lights were on in the house and in back. I went to front door and thankfully looked down after climbing porch steps as all the porch boards were removed and it was dark so could have been a disaster. The Hitching Horse sign was laying on the ground along the side of the house. Then I walked down and around the back door was unlocked. I yelled inside then walked into house announcing my arrival. There were 4 bedrooms upstairs all the lights were on and the beds had been slept in and not made up. There was a basement with lights on but I did not go down there. So after a long day of driving we had to find another place to stay. Was not a great experience. "
