"Unheard of for us, but we decided to come back to this hotel after a week holiday last year. Everything about this hotel is superb. Reception staff, restaurant staff, bar staff, cleaning staff.
My only gripe is that we asked for a room upgrade (as an Expedia platinum member) but were told that all the higher grade rooms were full. This wasn’t the case as we could clearly see that the suite we had last year was unoccupied for the duration of our stay. "

"The hotel is located near every convenience imaginable: supermarkets, local bars and tourist bars/restaurants as well as the beach within a 5 minute walking distance.
If you want to feel you are living in a traditional Andalusian home with a glorious courtyard and have modern conveniences, this is your place.
I will certainly return when next in Estepona."

"We really enjoyed our stay at El Pilar. It is right in the middle of everything = perfect location. It is a stunning property, the rooms are great, and the restaurants on site were all excellemt. We were very happy with our stay overall.
We did have problems with the validating of the parking (they did not have any validated passes to give us costing us 5 euros a night) that was not handled well by the staff. But even this could not put a damper on our enthusiasm for this place!"
