To clarify there are 2 ferry companies that service the crossings - we are easily the closest facility when exiting from both boats by car or bike, and closest to Bluebridge when walking but not Interislander while walking. Yes the temporary road closures are frustrating and we are working intently with the various organizations to resolve this. Thank you for your review.

Yes it is very close to both ferry companies if you have a car - if you are on foot it is best to use the Bluebridge ferry as it is very close to us. Thanks for your comments.

Firstly thank you for staying at Tombstone Lodge. Unfortunately through Expedia there is no category stating 'Caravan' in the title, but when you book it it is quite clear from the photos presented with the words 'Basic Room' that you have booked a caravan. Perhaps you may want to pay a bit extra next time and stay in our Queen Rooms in the Shared facilities or Queen Ensuites which provide an excellent view.

That is unfortunate you weren't more observant when you booked the caravan. It is very clear what you are booking in the photo's and is presented very well and clean. It is a popular budget room where many of our guests enjoy. As do the complimentary free breakfast and shuttle that you took advantage of I believe.

This is very confusing and disappointing. You booked a Queen En-suite with lovely sea views. Unfortunately our other rooms that cater for cooking and tea and coffee making facilities were not available.We only have 2 signs in the room one stating standard fire safety procedures and another about cooking facilities in our dining area. Your correct these particular rooms are too small to cook in, this is why we provide a kitchen and dining area.
