Everything was perfect in our stay at the property. It was described as luxury accommodation and that is very true. A beautiful suite with classy decor. The attention to detail is remarkable and the breakfast options provided were great.

Beautiful historic house in Picton. A little far of a walk into town, but it's doable. Would definitely recommend for a nice place to stay, the host was very nice and welcoming.

Beautiful home and wonderful hosts. Our room was very nice and the bed extremely comfortable. The hosts provided milk, eggs, bread, yogurt, cheese and spreads as well as Nespresso. We enjoyed a wine tour in lovely Picton. I’d highly recommend!

Great hospitality from Michelle and Stefan. Beautiful room in a quiet part of town, but easy walking distance into town. Well-stocked kitchen with homemade goodies. Highly recommend!!

This was our second stay after being here 6 years ago. It was just as beautiful as before, and if anything it was even better. The house is simply charming and our room was immaculate and very comfortable. The owners greeted us and helped us get settled. It is an easy walk to town, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return here if we travel here again.

One of the best places I've stayed at. Michelle was quick to respond to my messages prior to our trip, picked us up from the ferry and dropped us off at the train station. The property is beautiful, lovely gardens, and there is a nice outdoor seating

Michelle & Stephan are great hosts. We arrived midnight, New Year’s Eve. Fresh home baking baking was very welcome at this hour. The property and garden with balcony view was very peaceful.

Luxurious History
Absolutely wonderful. The doggie concierge was our favorite, and the alpaca neighbors were delightful. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the hosts stuffed us full of delicious food. They also gave us some good tips on local hiking trails! This may be the best-kept secret of Picton. We felt like we were in a museum (in a good way!), but with modern updated amenities that didn't take away from the charm. Just a 5-minute drive from the main town, but so quiet and lovely. I'd definitely stay here again!

Amazing B&B in Picton
Sennen House is a beautiful and luxurious B&B. I wished we’d stayed more than one night to get to explore the property more, get to know the alpacas, and get treated so well.

The proprietors picked us up at the ferry dock, dropped us off at the train station and did our laundry plus provided a well-stocked fridge with a bottle of delicious Marlborough wine at no extra cost. BTW, they dried our clothes on an open clothesline!

Sorry you found this to far from the town, it does state on the websites that it is a 15-20 minute walk to town. Most of our guests enjoy the walk or take advantage of our new bikes. We hope the rest of your holiday went well.

Beautiful heritage house with an amazing four poster bed. There was a private breakfast area in the suite as well as a tiny kitchen area that was well stocked with goodies (all complimentary, including a half bottle of Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc). The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fruit and a selection of cereal to start with homemade bread and a bacon, mushroom and egg tart the was delivered to the room, warm from the oven and completely delicious.

Beautiful historic house with elegant, comfortable rooms. We enjoyed the complimentary home baked sweets, bowl of whole fruit, and bottle of wine while relaxing on the wraparound balcony on the second floor. In-room breakfast is also a wonderful treat. It was a great place to stay before and after walking the Queen Charlotte track.

Home Away From Home
My parents and I stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days and had an absolutely fantastic time. Only a short stroll away from busy Picton, this hideaway is the perfect place to unwind and relax with a glass of wine and fresh home-made cakes on the balcony of a charming and historical home at the base of the Picton hills. It was the perfect mix of historical charm with modern facilities and appliances. But the excellent amenities and services can hardly compare to the incredible warmth that Stefan and Michelle bring to the homestead, where you are looked after like a member of the family. Michelle and Stefan were also kind enough to provide lots of fantastic gluten-free and dairy-free alternatives for breakfast and afternoon tea (which were actually so delicious that we had breakfast for dinner on a few occasions). When you first arrive, you are immediately greeted by the friendliest and cutest puppy in the world, Harvey, who was only too happy to provide cuddles and lots of games of fetch and tug-of-war on request. (I genuinely considered ‘accidentally’ missing our ferry just so I could spend a couple of extra hours hanging out with Harvey...) We will definitely be back again soon and would recommend it to anyone, whether you are looking for a couples retreat, a small family get-away, or just on your own, this is the perfect choice.

We had such an amazing time here. Stephanie & Don are wonderful hosts who give their all to this B & B. Rooms are beautiful, as are the home made breakfast and afternoon tea treats provided. Picton is a lovely little place to visit and enjoy the stunning scenery & local hospitality, and this is the perfect place to stay. We really can’t rate our experience highly enough.
