Entering the resort feels like stepping back in time. The Lamark University theme is well executed and brings interesting views around every corner. The beach is very clean and soft sand and they offer kayaks and paddle boards for guest use free. With the calm water it is a must to go out on the water for a paddle. Even in the summer rainy season this resort experience head and shoulders above a typical hotel on the beach. If you come to Phu Quoc I highly recommend staying here.

The beach was really dirty and the facilities were old. The bath tub faucet fell off during our stay. and the room was quite dusty with mold growing on the shower blinds. In general, the staff was polite and responsive. The staff at the restaurant were amazing! However, the worst part of the stat was when I booked a hotel driver to take my family around, and we were supposed to travel to the north of Phu Quoc and see a pepper farm. Unfortunately, the driver did not take us to the north but to a pepper farm only 10-15 minutes from the hotel which was next to a bus terminal. The driver just had us go into the store front to buy things. I had specifically asked to go to the Phu Quoc Pepper Farm in the north where there was supposed to be a guided tour in English and cooking classes and had even left the hotel early to get to the guided tour at 12:30 pm, but the driver took us somewhere nearby instead of to the north next to a bus terminal where no one spoke English and there was no guided tour. It was quite disappointing.

The staff were extremely courteous and the resort facilities were top notch. The concept of a university embedded in the resort layout and design makes this place unique. The breakfast was a feast. Our best experience on Phu Quoc island!

You will not experience a better excuisite and adventurous resort: The location, resort facilities, amenities, resort property, room experience, breakfast, and onsite restaurants. And most of all the staff are second to none in my experience. The most pleasant, knowledgeable, and accommodating staff I've met. If you're fortunate you'll get your introductory tour led by "Professor" Astrid!

My stay at JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa was absolutely unforgettable. The resort is stunning, with unique architecture, beautiful beachfront surroundings, and an atmosphere of pure luxury. The room was spacious, stylish, and impeccably maintained. Staff were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make the stay special. The food, facilities, and overall experience were exceptional. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Phu Quoc. Be aware, the prices at the resort are a bit more expensive than what you'd expect in the rest of Vietnam.

We had an amazing stay! Property is well maintained, rooms are large and comfortable, pool and beach are great! Good restaurant options! My only complain would be service and pool and restaurants, it was very slow.

Very beautiful resort, well maintenance, we stayed for five days and didn’t leave the resort at all. We only go to nearby shops such as Wellness Spa and July Spa for massage which is within the hotel area. The hotel is exceptional and we love the Pink Pearl Restaurant where I had celebrated my husband‘a bday there. We created so much happy memories here in this beautiful place. Staff are very helpful and attentive.
