We booked this hotel for its position in the city and its amenities. It is located in a very favourable part of the city - easy access to many of the interesting sites. Very busy corner location but actually quiet inside the hotel. Very friendly welcome on arrival - staff are lovely. Room (on the 4th floor) was large and airy and had a huge bed. Everything worked to begin with - good cable TV (including many channels in English), quick wi-fi, hot powerful shower. TV went off second day but was soon fixed as was in-room safe which had been left locked. We did notice a lot of renovation work going on in the hotel. As we explored the hotel, we realised that many of the advertised amenities no longer existed - rooftop restaurant and bar - gone! Gym - out of order! Jacuzzi- not working! Business centre - non-existent (we needed a Skype interview but had to do it on the phone). The smoke alarm in the room needed a new battery so it was taken away and was never seen again!! We asked for letters to be sent from their advertised postal service - this did not exist - we could pay for them to take the letters to the post office, so we walked there ourselves. We did get a chance to sit down with the hotel manager - a very nice young gentleman - who explained that the hotel had just been taken over by a new group and was being revamped and re-branded and, thus, all the work going on. He did apologise that this had not been pointed out before we arrived and agreed to pay our taxi fares
The room was very spacious and clean. Good location and easy walking distant to numerous restaurants. The hotel has an adjoining bar/ restaurant where you have your breakfast. The only downside was that breakfast was served here, and it was a buffet rather than cooked to order. Everything was cold. Talked to manager about it and he stated that it was done like this to cater for large parties, which is to some degree is understandable. Other hotels manage it.
Staff were very friendly. Swimming pool was more like fish pond, located in the foyer and not very appealing. They were in the process of enclosing it but think it will not make any difference.
Strafff not that help full place is worn in place just not nice place to stay

Definitively over priced
We stayed 2 nights in the hotel. The room is clean and big but « spartiate ». The hotel is classified 4 stars but practically I would say 3 small old stars. We stayed at the 4 floor and the room was noisy because of the street and the noise every time a door closed at zhe floor.
The staff is polite but not really friendly, a smile would have been appreciated. There is a spa on the ground floor but the jacuzzi is located in front and visible from all visitors of the hotel. When we saw the turbidity of the water we skipped the spa...
The breakfast is correct but poor. No fruits juice and ham and sausages were cold.
The airport transfer was included in the rate but we had to pay 15USD to go back (I didn’t see there was no s to transfer...).
We agreed with the reception to have a late check out at 1 pm but the last morning they called us at 11:15 am to say we had to leave the room at noon.
It was acceptable for us because we could have a great discount by the booking but for the same price you can find a lot of better hotels in Cambodia.

Noisy
This is an old building that has a lot of spit and polish to give it a nice appearance. The lobby and bar/dining room are very nice and the staff are very and friendly and helpful. The interior walls are thin and conversations can be heard. Doors will slam and jar you awake day and night. Location is convenient. It's walking distance to riverside and central market
Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend. It was also within easy walking distance of many attractions and good restaurants.

nothing unique, just big rooms with awkward columns that gets in your way and super slow wifi, and always pay at hotel unless you want to spend 15mins arguing with hotel staffs that you already paid in advance with expedia.
Good place with good prices. Nothing special, just a good clean and safe place to stay while in Phnom Penh. Walking distance to Royal Palace and Riverside, but far enough away so you aren't bothered by the noise and crowds of the Riverside, But be prepared for the nightly tour buses and get to breakfast early or you may not get any.
Please see the following comment:-
a) Aircon in room 429 not very cold. Probably need some gas top up.
b) In general, the room are clean and comfortable.
c) We are a group of 8 persons and especially happy with the food in Bar&Grill Restaurant with dinner taken on the 18-Nov-18. The fried rice, noodle and spaghetti are all very tasty. Do send our special congrats to the team in the kitchen.

Was ok for the price...at a discount..
The check in was quick..
The room was ok, a twin room, pretty big ..
The air on was not enough to cool the room, high ceilings didn't help.
Second room I got was better and the staff used a wooden card to keep the air on on at all times...seemed to work..
The shower is great, not stuck to a wall and plenty hit water.
Nice to with loads of channels and picture very clear..
Never bed but lovely pillows..
Breakfast was great..cornflakes,coco pops, bread , eggs whatever way you like them, fruit,Asia food,,ach it seems to have plenty as well as cold water and coffee and tea..wifi comes and goes..bit annoying really...towels are nice..the jacuzzi is large but sits diagonal to the front door to the left as you walk in ..weird place to have it ..so never bothered with it.
