"Heating was totally down and we have no heat during cold night!"

"Firstly, although advertised, there is no breakfast at all. This needs to be removed from Expedia, etc. May have earned an excellent rating, if not for this deception. Checking was quick and efficiently professional, despite the 4-person line. We stayed in a large, deluxe King room, which was located on the ground floor, in a detached building, overlooking the harbor. Nice. Needs some updating, very minor repairs, but extremely comfortable. Bed was clean and comfy. Everything in the room was operational, which is what we check thoroughly before bringing in baggage, along with the possible presence of bedbugs,etc. Good to go. Nice harbor view. Fun to watch the resident sea lions, boats entering/exiting the harbor from the private balcony. Also could keep an eye on restaurants/other commercial properties below. Close proximity to Hwy 1/Noyo Harbor Bridge, although no exterior noise nuisance penetrated into the room, incuding barking sea lions. The only complaint was the "elephant" in the room directly above...there's always one. Centrally located, nearby grocery stores, restaurants, conveniences, Noyo Headlands, many other places of interest. Will stay again."

"The SCP staff were really fantastic. My girlfriend and I booked a place at the Coast Lodge location. The place was great, and the ocean view was fantastic, but we didn't realize there aren't any trail/path options for walking, and we have an active dog. We asked if we could switch to the Farm location, and the staff went out of their way after hours to move us even though it was difficult because our reservation was through Expedia and not directly with them. They even upgraded us to the cottage location, which was wonderful, at no additional cost (it would have been much more than what we originally paid). If you value nearby trails and beach access without driving, or if you have a dog, go with the Farm location. If you're happy driving to the beach and just want to enjoy fantastic ocean views from the porch on the bluff, go with the Coast Lodge location. We will definitely stay with SCP again in the future."

"This place is really nice! Rooms are adorable and the grounds are beautiful. Easy trail access to Van Damme beach and the trail itself is lined with wildflowers and lovely views. Nice chicken enclosure where you can feed them and the Llama are so cute! Breakfast delivered to tour room in the morning was very nice and the pizza restaurant had a nice selection of pizzas and salads. Super nice staff as well! Highly recommend!"
