"Welcomed on arrival with a good chat, then another good chat on the way out. Room was way above what I thought it may be. I have a new favourite place to book a room now when I stay at the Island. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could."

"Units newly renovated. Clean units, comfortable beds. Heating was good too. Easy check in process and even easier checking out using the key dropbox. I would recommend Tropicana and it is very price effective too. Thank you 😊 "

"The three-bedroom was a decent size. Unfortunately, it was on the top floor and the other guests I was with had trouble going up the stairs, but we will know for next time. However, the front desk staff were kind to offer us another option to a two-bedroom to accommodate our needs, but my other guests said it’s only for two nights. The rooms were spacious, and the bedding and towels were beautiful. Minor things that could be improved are the rangehood fan, which was hard to pull out, the sliding doors in one of the bedrooms, which are a little stiff to slide open, and one of the kitchen doors, which is hard to open. The kitchen could use basic amenities like salt, pepper, a small oil bottle, spray, and wipes. I love the laundry with a dryer. It was handy on our last night of our stay, as it was raining a lot. I had to do a load of washing, and the clothes dried quickly. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We didn’t have time to use the heated pool and spa due to the weather; it had been raining a lot. We did hear the possums on the roof at night, but with the rain, they stayed away. Next time, we will stay again and request the ground floor. It’s a great location, close to the main restaurants and shops around the corner. Thank you for having us. I highly recommend this accommodation, and we will return. "

"Located close to the Philip Island Conservation Park. Small, quiet complex with parking just outside the door. Very welcoming and comfy. Beautifully decorated with wonderful touches such as throw blankets, movies, and books. Loved the heated mattress! Chris, the property manager was very friendly and responsive. Wished we could have stayed longer and would absolutely recommend."
