"The hotel itself is in great condition and looks well maintained, which makes the experience even more disappointing.
Unfortunately, the service is on the level of a hostel rather than a proper hotel. The staff give the impression that they’re doing you a favor instead of simply doing their job, which makes interactions frustrating.
Room service is practically nonexistent. Our room was cleaned, but no fresh shampoo or shower gel was provided. After calling four times with no result, I had to go and pick it up myself.
I also asked to speak with a manager and am still waiting for a callback — which honestly says everything about how things are handled here.
Overall, the service is brutally bad and completely undermines what could have been a good stay."
"For what it’s worth, the hotel is conveniently located in little bay so beach is nice, which is a plus. However, there’s nothing particularly exciting about the hotel itself. The staff is friendly and helpful, working with what they have, but the hotel is extremely outdated. Despite the staff’s best efforts, the rooms didn’t feel very clean, even though they were clean. This is because of the overall datedness of the hotel. There’s no shampoo or conditioner in the rooms. Mosquitos buzzing around. Probably won’t stay there again but I’ve heard that some rooms are renovated so may be worth asking the staff if you can be put into one of those lol"
"The hotel was amazing . Staff was excellent . The resturant and bars were great . Breakfast , lunch and dinner were all excellent . If you book a room opt for the breakfast included , definitely worth it . The bars and bartenders were superb , friendly and made great drinks . Location , right on the boardwalk was awesome and convenient . Close to the cruise port. Perfect location if you ’re taking a cruise . Private beach across the boardwalk with complimentary chairs and towels . Drink and food services on the beach were perfect . The beach front room with balcony was great with amazing view . "
"The place is exactly like the pictures. It was beautiful. The host greeted us well when it was check in. Only issue was the shower water was very cold. The water went out when we first check in but the host was able to reach out to the water company. We was able to get back up water but it was cold. "
"1st room, 303, air wasn’t working. Read 80 when I arrived and 2 hrs later it was 81. Plus tv wasn’t hooked up to any service so had to again go to front desk to get fire stick. Was moved to 301 which had air and different front desk person installed fire stick. Later after dinner wanted a shower. No hot water! When I went down the next morning I was told repairman was scheduled to come that day. Then found out the issue was known the day, or more, before I checked in. It would have been nice to be told that before taking the room. What a classy business would have done, I’ve had it done before, is make arrangements with another hotel to move to customers. Instead they took my money and didn’t supply normal services, basic hot water. They told me that the hotel was just sold at auction. No doubt it was a bargain needing all sorts of work. The icing on the cake was when I told them I would be leaving after one night of a 3 night reservation because they couldn’t guarantee that the hot water system would be repaired they were kind enough to let me know they wouldn’t charge me for the next two days. Really, they knee there was no hot water and they were kind enough not to charge me, classic. "
