The room was clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet. The noise machine and earplugs were a an awesome touch. The location was excellent and so close to everything. The decor and aesthetic are beautiful, with original exposed brick walls. My only complaint is that there isn’t a pre check-in/post-check-out luggage storing system. If you don’t want to walk around the busy streets with luggage, plan accordingly.

Everything about the hotel in terms of its cleanliness, location, and staff were excellent. What only marred the trip was trouble with the electronic check-in and check-out process, as well as issues with accessing the hotel. The room was itself quite plain with concrete floors and walls, though it offered great TV, robes, and bathroom.

The hotel has some unique features, such as a code you use to access both your room and the front door, so you don’t have to worry about carrying or remembering a key. The building itself is very historic and has a lot of character. However, the bathroom was dirty, the rooms were cold, and the insulation was awful. You could hear the person next door through the cracks in the walls. Amenities are not provided in the room either—you have to go to a storage closet on the fourth floor to get them. There is also no one on the property, including a front desk or other staff, to assist you if you encounter unruly guests or have an issue during your stay. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The room was very cute but very hot. The AC was broken and it took over two hours to get my room changed to the one next door. The AC hardly worked in the second one, but it was 4 degrees cooler than the 78/79 degrees than it was in the room before. Not very accommodating. The room has chips on the floor, so the floors definitely weren’t cleaned. No front desk, so you can’t send any mail there. The online check in was very easy to do on your own. Wouldn’t stay there again.

My queen room was nice and spacious enough for two people. Communication was great! Special thanks to Queenie and Sophie for their prompt responses. The no front desk made me nervous but we experienced 0 issues. This property requires a code for everything which is okay. It is in the heart of Philly and there is ALOT of foot traffic. We were close to EVERYTHING. Once we parked, we walked everywhere within 5-10 min at most. I would definitely stay here again. The only negative I have (which doesn’t take away from the stay) is that when we arrived the entrance smelled too much like cleaning supplies (bleach) and it was overwhelming. The suggested parking is about a 5 min walk but there are closer options.

This hotel was in a really good location for us. It was very nice inside, and our room had lots of little modern amenities. It was super clean, and our room (8th floor) was very quiet. The biggest issue is parking. There is NOWHERE to park nearby, without paying $50/night in a garage. So keep that in mind when you're considering staying here. I would probably stay here again, even so.

Simple electronic check-in. Superb building design, rooms. Outstanding rainfall shower, plenty of hot water and A/C worked perfectly. Rooftop deck…quiet retreat, great views. Plenty of parking decks to use in center city. Great location in the heart of center city. Easy walk to surrounding neighborhoods like Rittenhouse.

Since the hotel is fairly new, everything felt modern, clean, and well maintained. Most services are self-service, including check-in, virtual room keys, check-out, and room maintenance requests, which wasn’t an issue for me but may not appeal to everyone. The main drawback was the water temperature in the bathroom, which was inconsistent and often didn’t get very warm until later in the evening. It was a minor frustration during my stay. Another inconvenience was the parking situation—there’s no on-site parking garage, so guests have to park at a nearby public garage and walk to the hotel. On the plus side, the location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and other attractions within walking distance. Overall, I had a good experience and would stay here again if I needed an affordable hotel option in Philadelphia.

I liked the overall aesthetic of the hotel. The rooftop was really nice and added to the experience. One thing to keep in mind is that they are very strict with their check-in policy. If check-in is at 3:00 PM, don’t expect to get your room much earlier than that—maybe 20 minutes early at most. We also didn’t receive the security link until the day of check-in, even though it’s supposed to be sent 24 hours in advance. Once I called the hotel, the representatives were very helpful and resolved the issue quickly. The only downside was that the AC didn’t seem strong enough during the middle of the night. It either stopped working or was barely blowing any air. The coffee machine also wasn’t working. Also, keep in mind that the rooms aren’t very soundproof. I could hear conversations from other guests across the hallway. It would be great if the hotel could add lockers so we can store our luggages after our stay.
