"Older building with older decor, not appealing from the outside, but comfortable and “ok”"

"The room was clean, which I appreciated, but the bed was sagging and uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. The free breakfast was very basic—just coffee, pancakes, cornflakes, a banana, and some cheap pastries. It’s fine if you're not expecting much, but definitely not enough ..."

"This was a very unique and interesting hotel with great history and ambiance. The hotel is easy access and close to Avenue of Giants and Eureka. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. This is a very cool experience and my family and I enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay."
