"The hotel was nice, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and seriously the best continental breakfast we’ve experienced at a hotel. The only downfall was the hotel attendant at check-in; quickly after arriving we realized that the shower didn’t drain (almost at all) so my husband phoned to request a room change, he was told to come to the desk and the given the run around about “not understanding English”, so my perfectly bilingual spouse flipped to French at which point he was told the system was resetting so no new key card could be made for 15 minutes, we understood and said we’d wait, but then were asked if it’s really that big of a deal/ why we need a new room - um sir, we are a family of four with small children who will certainly be in the pool so we need to be able to shower without flooding the bathroom!? We eventually did get the new room, but the whole interaction left much to be desired. "
