"The room that I was in had an oder that would not leave even after spraying a can of lysol. The sealant around the tub and faucet had mold that needed to be addressed also."

"My Expedia reservation was cancelled by the hotel manager without informing me. I had arrived at Cobblestone Inn, ready to check in after a day of traveling, only to be told my reservation had been cancelled, they had no rooms to rebook me, and they could not help me in any way. Expedia was great about refunding my money, which I appreciated."

"The tub had a large crack in the bottom of it. The room itself was fine and breakfast was as advertised. The bathroom in our room definitely needs some real upgrades, not up to Marriott standards."

"It was the only property available in Stewart iowa. The door to my room obviously had been run into by a car or truck and did not fit the door frame. The air conditioner did not work they did not have an ice machine. Did ladies at the counters were very helpful but I don't think I'll ever stay there again"

"The night staff was above and beyond fantastic and helpful. Day time was great too. I just didn’t interact with them as much. Appreciated breakfast but the eggs were not hydrated well enough and were too dry and stiff. Hotel was too far out for my liking but I appreciated the quiet. Meal options near by is limited. Don’t go to the Hawaiian bros unless you enjoy microwaved food that will make you sick."

"We came back to this same hotel from a stay in 2025. It has significantly gone downhill. The entrance, hallways and doors are scuffed and look really worn. After check-in we found that our room was not cleaned. We specifically requested a room on the backside of the hotel to avoid Interstate traffic noise. The request was not communicated. Our room was clean and smelled deeply of Pine Sol. It had a fire alarm that continuously chirped, randomly. The first night, we called a front desk personnel...

"We love staying here. It is quiet and very very clean. Love that breakfast items are out in the evenings and all night. I have diabetes and sometimes crash at odd times. There is always bananas and yogurt available for me. The town and surrounding areas are also quiet and safe for a walk."

"They were defrosting refrigerator of our room. Frig stuffed with towels. We mentioned this was bothersome and they said they could move us but the asked if we had used the bathroom and acted that if we had it would need to be recleaned so we never moved. Came back later to find water all over floor and they gave us towels to clean it up ourselves."

"The pool area is closed due to renovation but they have plenty of other spots on sight to meet and hangout. I loved the Pioneer bar and the bar tender makes great food and drinks of all kinds."
