"Leumeah Lodge is a fairly new hotel under the YMCA. My family and I (4 adults) had one room with 2 queen sized beds to ourselves. The room was spacious enough and the toilet is behind a door, separated from the shower place. Convenient for a family of four trying to get ready in the morning. Although the hotel is about 15-20mins away from the central of Canberra, there is a Maccas and Caltex located nearby (7 mins walk) and it is an easy drive back to the city. "I stayed at the hotel for two nights. My arrival day was fine but the next day I had to change my room three times. The first room had a faulty air conditioning unit that was leaking water like a tap. This ruined my expensive slipper. I reported the issue to the morning receptionist on the 12th of March. "This is a top hotel in every regard. It is so refreshing to have the space and luxury compared to a lot of 5 star places which can be bright and shiny but smaller rooms and not as "opulent" as the Hyatt Canberra feels. This was a treat and I travel every week so if in Canberra.....DO IT!"

"The motel is on the older side and looks like it hasn’t had a refresh in a long time. That is all ok as it’s reflected in the rate. The room was very large (it could easily have held another queen bed. It was also a comfortable walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the light rail. The only issues I had were the limited wifi (you get a daily limit which got used up in about 3 hours). A lot of Freeview channels were not available on the tv either. Otherwise, no problem. "

"The shower was the worst - The water temperature had no consistency, it was just going between hot and cold non-stop. One of the bed covers had what looked like a cigarette burn in it And I would suggest bringing your own pillows. Other than that, the place was fine, room was very dark which we appreciated, it was clean enough too."
