"This is a great option if you are in town for hiking, especially if you don't speak Spanish. The guy who works the front desk is super personable and will help with hiking routes, restaurants, whatever you need, and he is also a wonderful host - very friendly, very charismatic. The view from our windows of the mountains was outstanding. You will have to shut the curtains ok n the afternoon to keep the heat out, but you won't be there anyway. You'll be hiking or eating or visiting a cheese...

"The hotel, once found, was well situated on the outskirts of the village of Nueva de Llanes in Asturias, suitable for exploring Asturias. Unfortunately both sat nab and Google maps takes you to an apartment building in the village. The room was small and overlooked the roof of the cafe, by which cats obviously accessed, with the sometimes overpowering smell of cats. The shower head was broken. To be fair, I kept forgetting to report it and only remembered when I was checking out. Hot water...

"A lovely family run hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was adequate for an overnight stay. There was a beautiful small beach across the road. Nice hotel on the renovated side but very loud
"This hotel was a perfect location right on a beautiful beach. We first had a room on the “nautical themed” side. This side is a lot older and run down feeling than the other more renovated side. We changed rooms at midnight due to three bus loads of kids (not school buses but giant tour buses) being on the floor right above us. These kids were INSANELY loud and unsupervised. You could hear every word they screamed (yes screamed), they were dragging furniture all over the room and congregating and hopping onto each others balconies all while screaming. The “chaperone” was sitting in the hall on his phone and just said there’s nothing he can do when we asked if he could ask them to quiet down. Im a flight attendant so spend half my life in hotel rooms and I have NEVER seen anything as wild and out of control as this place. Eventually at midnight we packed all our things up and the front desk put us in the other side or the hotel which was much better. These kids were everywhere the entire time we were there. The resturant, the common areas. It was like spending our anniversary at an unsupervised kids camp lol. "
