"We stayed in a beautiful clean room overlooking the garden. Was spotlessly clean throughout. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choices & our hosts Sarah & Cheryl were really friendly & helpful on telling us of places to visit.
All in all a very relaxing & enjoyable 5 days break.
Easy parking also, most important!!"

"We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. "

"Beautiful, comfortable boutique hotel stay with exceptional staff. Marie was wonderful, acquainted us with the history of the Castle and the wonderful hotel amenities.
