"Everything was clean and neat."

"This hotel is horrible. I have never been in a place that is so dirty and stinky. The carpets were totally wore out super dirty, and were wet around the edges and damp in the middle. The bedsheets, bedspreads, pillowcases, and all the bedding was stained and looked moldy. I do not think that anything was washed. I cannot believe that Expedia would have this hotel on their site or that they can get a permit to run a hotel like this. I have no idea how this hotel has a good rating. possibly they have some good rooms and some terrible rooms. I guess it is a roar of the dice which room you end up with, so I would think twice about staying here. I will never stay in a ramada in the rest of my life."

"It’s always a nice experience staying at this hotel! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean, spacious, and quiet. Plus, it has the best location close to Virginia Tech and downtown. "

"We were very happy with our stay. The front desk staff were outstanding, and though the room is aging a bit, it was clean. There was one stray hair in the tub, but it wasn't at all a big deal--the real work of cleaning had been done. We'd definitely stay again, mostly because of the stuff and because the breakfast was great, the extras (cookies and chips) were nice, and the porch was a very nice place to sit and enjoy some coffee."

"We enjoyed the friendly environment, the scavenger hunt, and hikes! The AC did not work in room but we put available fan by window and it cooled down quickly. We ate meals at the lodge, I do recommend the delicious pork chop, meatloaf, biscuits with gravy.. We also enjoyed trying out more unique dishes such as frog legs and dandelion salad! We primarily came for a massage at the spa and that did not disappoint!! Would definitely come back for future for a low key, quiet, quaint getaway!"
