This was my first time in Thailand and it was made much easier with my stay at the Tide Resort there friendly professional and helpful attitude made my visit so much easier and it is my intention to travel to Thailand again in 6 months time I would have no hesitation in booking the Tide Resort.

the floor was so slippery. i have to walk barefoot in order not to fall. there were mosquitos & bugs in the room. and it smells like smoke.

Perfect for our family
Location, location. A little dated but nothing major. Staff was awesome and would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Great place to relax had a balcony view of the pool and really like it. Over all excellent for my family. I cant upload any photos in the hotels.com app for some reason.

Perfect place to stay
A beautiful hotel with amazing well kept gardens. Just across the road from the beach. Very friendly staff who gave us an early check in. Lovely swimming pool. Good size room with a balcony . Cannot fault the ppace

Pros: Staff were super friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick and painless. Facilities are good, particularly, the pool and gym. Location is also nice as it is centrally located right across from the beach. Cons: The property is definitely showing its age and would benefit greatly from an update/refurbishment. Other: Breakfast is just OK, though I particularly enjoyed the options provided by the coffee maker. The area is very quiet which should be a plus, but anytime there is any noise, it stands out dramatically.

A little outdated
Resort looks nice from the outside, but rooms show age, wear, and are outdated when it comes to equipment like shower, TV, number of electrical outlets etc. I would recommend considering a major “tuneup” to the owners, otherwise the future of this resort does not look too bright.

Decent hotel, with good facilities and helpful staff. Good pool, decent breakfast and it’s right on the beach - Yes, it’s a little tired in places, but who cares, go for it!

Very good resort with excellent staff - it is looking a little 'tired' in places but nothing that would put you off the resort - the food is outstanding - very tasty. The location is good with travel access either in the road outside or arranged by hotel

Lovely
The hotel is lovely, a bit dated in places but it was immaculately clean. The receptionists couldn’t have done more to make our stay perfect. I will definitely return.

Top hotel
Fantastic hotel close to the beach and a massive choice of street food. Breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. Staff were very good always trying to help even though they hardly spoke any English. The pool was one of the best we've ever had. Rooms were large and comfortable with a view of the pool from the balcony. Restaurant was good although the music was a little loud, the cake shop sold very good snacks and drinks. Would advise using the hotels shuttle service they were prompt and efficient, they even arranged for the transfer to our hotel in Bangkok on our way home even arranging for them to meet us to collect our luggage. Very Thai but loved it, great to see how Thai people take holidays.

It's an amazing beach front hotel. It's in good condition service wise its awesome and the staff were all friendly. It's a property with access to everything. Literally everything it's near the road for transport, huge shopping mall, long beach is just across the property, convenient stores, local shops for goods and delicacies.

First visit
We booked for a king bed, but was not available upon checking in. The second night, both smtein bed were joined to with king size bed spread and quilt. Breakfast wassumptuous and the receiotinsts were friendly. The beach was crowded due to festive season. No massage parlour around.

Uncomfortable experience
The hotel had works going on with constant drilling all day long which isn’t pleasant when trying to relax by the pool. Reception staff good, room service not very good I had ring marks in my cup and had to complain plus room wasn’t hoovered each day. The swimming pool was not cleaned every day and had dead flies and debris on the surface Breakfast had lots of flies landing on freshly cut fruit. Staff were not attentive. The bed was so hard I got backache Had used the hotel before which was ok hence the return but it’s definitely gone down hill The best part of the stay was leaving

Depending on whether you get a renovated room or an older room the experience is quite different. Newer rooms are ok, the older are not great. The food at the restaurant is quite good. It is across the street from the beach.

The Tide looks great from the outside, but having stayed there on two occasions the rooms are a bit hit and miss. My first room had two single beds, which is never my preference and the room interior was very dated and not particularly clean. The second room was better seemed like it had been updated a little. By North American standards I would say it is about 3 stars. The food in the restaurant is surprisingly good
