10/10 Cemerlang

Located "around the block" from a small 2-way (other countries it would be one-way, but then it would not be Thailand) lightly trafficked commercial street, number of small eateries, modest restaurants, some Indian, some Arab; not sure there are enough "heads" for all the hair salons and barber shops... three convenience shops (one is of course the ubiquitios 7-11), quiet at night. No shortage of street food, pushcart wagons; there is even an old lady that grills in front of her home (!) evenings...
Hotel is charming, isolated in residential street, housing 3-4-5 levels, bit of a cul-de-sac; no "thru" traffic... very peaceful, yet only a ten minute walk to the madness and mayhem of Walking Street, then Beach to the right. Hotel is comparable to Miami Beach art deco; no language problem at this establishment, or in general here... unlike Bangkok Yai... Good place to stay, my second sojourn @NN, decided to make it five weeks.
