"Outside area was really dirty and mangy scroungy mats of flower pots were full of weeds Just not maintained. Room was okay bed was really noisy cuz they had some kind of plastic bed cover on the bed I guess The shower was horrible to say the least you couldn't move the shower head and we had hardly any pressure and warm water. The place definitely needs a remodel."

"Sand on top of both beds. I think they need to wash the green plaid blankets that are at the end of the beds as I think that’s where the sand is coming from. Other than the sand in our beds, the resort is charming."

"Beds were ok. Rooms was great for a family. We had 2 beds plus sofa bed. Sofa bed wasn’t the safest for kids. It would starts to tilt up like it wanted to fold. Ac would not stay on throughout the night most of the night it was off which the room was really warm. Plenty of space for our stuff. Balcony was a plus. Kids loved it."

"Decent hotel. A bit shabby, but that’s Oak Harbor. Shower didn’t work in bathroom and it was too late for me to get it fixed before check out."

"Air conditioner filter was moldy, uncomfortable bed, creaky floors, toilet was not clean, human hair on sheets and pillows, road noise was horrendous, had to climb staircase to second floor. you have been warned"

"Overall an interesting and unique hotel. Very well done decor. Housekeeping was great. Look at the pictures of the room you are booking. There are no elevators and the third floor is a 50+ stair climb. We would stay there again - on a lower floor."

"Staff was very helpful and quickly responsive. Nice breakfast. Hot water quickly. Lots of towels! Beds were not secure and rolled around when small children jumped on them. Not helpful."

"This is a self-help apartment. It was very expensive. We were afforded no early check in, even though we far in advance notified them that we had a complicated situation. As a result, because we were at an event, could only check in late. Check out is at 10AM, which is an obnoxious, creeping habit of hotels and air b and b's. It does not take six hours to clean a unit. Also, the stay requires a download of an app, but we did not receive check in information (just an email with a broken link) so...

"It was beautiful! View outstanding. The pictures you have need to be updated. The outside looks nothing like the photos. Overgrown- weeds by the front door area and so much sand. Cliff we can tell has been slowly eroding. Next door the neighbors are loosing their yard. Your yard the fence dangerous. I would not have any children in yard. grassy and things including old tables and wire fencing laying around. Deck falling apart. Lots of sand- we understand but none cleaned up. Bbq horrible even...

"It’s called the Belmont Hotel on all the travel sites but when you get there, they say through the phone that it’s called Vacasa. This hotel is not open when you peek inside the windows of the hotel and front desk and no one around to assist. We had numerous calls trying to get someone to help us and everyone informed us they couldn’t help us until 4 o’clock when we could use a code that would be emailed to us privately to get into the hotel. Then we would need additional codes to get into a...
