It is truly an amazing property that unfortunately was soiled by how FAR it truly was from the entrance. We came with 4 luggages and 2 bags and their transportation service, while stated it was going to be available, the driver had finished early that day and we had to drag our luggage what seemed miles up the hill and steps (which were plenty). "Hotel is outstanding, it’s over 500 years old and it’s immaculate, food was great, very quiet, first time we have ever stayed in a Palace, room was large with a King bed. My only criticism is that it doesn’t have a true shower. Staff were so polite and accommodating ….we loved the place. Shout out to Lucia who checked us in made us feel so welcome. Appreciated Irina’s help this morning on the check out. "
