"Ronald was AMAZING!! The hotel we booked wasn’t there when we went to check in. It was pouring outside and the middle of the night by the time we got there. I was traveling with my adult son and they didn’t have two beds in the only room they had left. It was about 1am and we had been trying to find a hotel for three hours. I almost started crying… Ronald took the room with the double bed and personally went and deconstructed it to make two twins. He was so kind and went above and beyond so we would have a dry, clean place to sleep. We ended up staying there the whole trip and honestly I think the hotel not being there to let us into our room was a god sent. Hotels on the island NEVER look like their photos and they are mostly run down this hotel is actually really nice and really clean. I was so grateful to Ronald and the hotel. This is an absolutely YOU SHOULD BOOK!"

"The property is very nice. The room very clean. Dinner at the restaurant was very good. Breakfast included was very good. Free available parking on the property was very good. The only negative was unclear direction upon arrival to find reception. Reception is located upstairs in an almost hidden location with limited or no signage directing you there."

"A classic old-world hotel with small rooms and limited facilities, well located in the quiet and picturesque town of Portogruaro. Several good restaurants are within walking distance. For breakfast, Il Portici bakery, just five minutes away, is an excellent choice and far superior to the hotel’s offering. A solid overnight stop when leaving or heading to Venice, with reliable 45-minute train connections to Venezia."

"Charming town, easy access to downtown via ferry, hotel bikes are available as it’s a big bicycling town. Hotel was elderly but very clean, good renovations, bed was super hard, room was small, gorgeous beach with the best beach chairs I’ve ever used. Breakfast buffet was a nice surprise. I would recommend for anyone on a budget or for ‘low maintenance’ people."
