"I had a very disappointing experience. I specifically booked and paid an additional €25 for an upgraded room, but upon arrival, I was given a standard room with separate beds—the most basic option listed on Expedia. This was already frustrating, as it did not match what I had paid for. The situation became worse with the air conditioning, which was not functioning properly. "Have stayed in this hotel many times over the last few years. The location is perfect just a short walk to the main area of Sardinero and the beach. The food is amazing. Having tried most restaurants in the area, this is by far the best food. Rooms are very clean. My one criticism is that the rooms are a bit plain and outdated, especially the bathrooms. Nevertheless a very nice place to stay if visiting Santander"

"A great hotel with helpful staff. Good location from which to explore the beach and headland. There is parking available but there is also plenty of street parking right outside the hotel (at least there is in mid-April). Would highly recommend. "

"I enjoyed the spacious room, clean , fantastic front desk staff, the ability to have them keep my luggage after checkout while I check Santander further. Price was hard to beat and onsite breakfast was also well priced with ample amount of choices"

"Had to put the heating on when I arrived as the room was very cold. The decor was very old, paint peeling and skirting loose. The washbasin was clean, hairs on it and the water from the tap was just a dribb. Having a shower was difficult as when you held the shower head up the water stopped altog. At the garage, the hotel advertised the price as €12 when it was actually €17. "
