Clean room, with lots of extras in the room from a Roku TV to wine glasses. Nice host as well, who went out of her way in assisting us with our needs. AC worked excellent during that hot spell. A+!"

Once I found my room, I through my bags in the room and immediately left to eat dinner, etc. When I returned I realized our AC barely functioned and we had one lamp working with the worst yellow lightbulb, could barely see anything. However, I did see what I think was dried up pepperoni on the floor. It was obvious they don’t triple check their cleaning. "This place is perfection! The owners are beyond welcoming and so accommodating. The entire place gives off a warm and cozy feeling which makes you feel right at home. The location is perfect, it’s nice and quiet but is still walkable to retaurants nearby. The bedroom and bathroom are decorated so beautifully and are very clean. The breakfast was also so delicious and fresh. My boyfriend and I couldn’t recommend this place enough and will definitely return the next time we’re in the area!"

"The room was very nice with a private balcony which was great. The only thing I would suggest is some sort of welcome packet. For instance, a listing for the tv channels. It would have been very helpful to have a restaurant listing as well as what is in the area."

"The shower and bathroom were not cleaned prior to our arrival. The staff took care of it after I called and let them know unfortunately after I was in the shower. Housekeeping came right away to clean the whole room."

"I have stayed at the "School House" many times, and I love how quiet. I know the manager and I just met her soon Royce. It's funny I retired as a captain with American Airlines, when we had to go back to Dallas Tx, it was known as back to the School House! Funny and I flew Pratt and Whitney Engines, and Rolls Royce Engines. Very funny. I now live in the 1000nd Islands, and visit friends in Maine. I therefore head south to North Conway NH to visit close friends living there. I love that...

"We stayed here for one night for an early morning visit to Brewster Academy. The property looks like is was well kept. The last working the evening shift was really nice and helpful checking us in. The lady working the front desk in the morning was very rude. We asked for late checkout to allow our son the opportunity to come back and shower after his visit to Brewster Academy, but she was not accommodating at all despite the hotel not being at capacity.
