One downside is that the hotel is not located close to the airport and requires either a taxi (which is expensive from the airport) or a public bus - a shuttle service between airport and hotel would be helpful. This hotel gave us everything we needed for a one night stop after arriving late at the airport. Comfortable beds. The balcony upgrade was worth every penny with an amazing view of the city of Malaga and the sea. Lifts could be slow to arrive at times but a small price to pay for the view from the top."
