"El Museo Hotel Boutique is a charming hotel in a good location. The building was once the home of Jorge Muñoz Reyes, a major figure in Bolivian petroleum exploration, and it is now owned by his grandson, who partially grew up in the house and previously tried to convert it into a museum. Elements of the museum remain: little collections of hats, typewriters, ink bottles, etc. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The street is quiet, but it's just a short walk to Plaza Abaroa and the restaurants and cafes there."

"Excellent location. Extremely helpful staff. Very decent-sized room/bathroom. If I have to point out one thing, the room was a bit on the 'colder' side, as there is no heating, and it can get a little uncomfortable at times."

"Amazing place to stay. Great view of La Paz and near the bus station and walkable to main square. Great exercise every day walking up the hill. Friendly and attentive staff too and Remo and team helped organise tours and watched all the football and food at the bar. Highly recommended and stayed here for nearly a month."
