"THIS HOTEL IS FILTY! FLIES, ROACH, BUGS ARE PRESENT. FLOOR IS FILTHY, phone from the 1900 is broken and there is no dial tone for emergency situation. TV NOT WORKING CROOKED, FRIDGE DOES NOT OPEN, TOWELS ARE DIRTY. SINK IS DIRTY. WE HAVE TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY AT 5am as we cannot stand the condition of this property. We checked in around 11pm! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!"

"The room was very clean and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was good and a lot of variety. We didn't have time to use the pool or the workout room or the hot tub, if there was one. But they look clean as well. We would stay there again without a doubt. Love that it's no smoking no pets."

"Literally the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The pictures are incredibly deceiving. While the beds appeared to be newer, the rest of the property was in terrible condition, and the smell throughout the hotel was absolutely atrocious. You could hear everything through the walls, and the air conditioning barely worked. The front desk was almost always unattended, with a beat-up handwritten sign saying they would “be back in 15 minutes” that looked like it had become a permanent fixture. There was no opportunity to address any concerns because no one was ever there. The floors were sticky, fixtures were falling apart, and it seemed like everything was hanging on by a literal thread. I have never seen a property so poorly maintained. Save yourself the frustration and stay far, far away."

"I recently stayed at Comfort Inn with my daughter and niece and overall had a positive experience, rating it a 4 out of 5. The highlight of our stay was definitely the breakfast—it was fresh, well-stocked, and had a good variety of options to start the day. We also really enjoyed having access to the pool and were able to get a nice swim in together, which made the trip even more fun and relaxing. The only downside was that the ice machine near the front desk wasn’t working during our visit, which was a bit inconvenient. However, aside from that minor issue, everything else met expectations. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay for us, and I would consider staying here again."

"Dirty sticky floors and walls, hair in bed under the sheets and in bathtub upon arrival. Toilet leaked and often did not flush. TV turned on but most channels just showed an error. Had an interaction with the hotel attendant after calling the 800 number to voice a complaint. He stated that they tried knocking on the door the day before but we didn’t answer, however I had only reported the issues a few minutes prior to our interaction. Not a fan of being lied too. All in all I wasn’t expecting the comfort and quality of the Ritz but I was expecting a working toilet, clean floor, sheets and tub. This was my 3rd time in the last 10 years staying at a Red Roof Inn. 2 of the 3 times have been bad. Safe to say it will be another 10 years before I do it again. I also have photos, video, screenshots and audio recordings of all the issues as well as interaction with the one staff member."

"The staff is great. They must have kept my notes from a prior stay, they put me in a corner room/ top floor which was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Bed linens impeccably clean. Interior of the room clean and well maintained. That said, cosmetically speaking, the property is showing signs of wear, which is to be expected, I suppose. Overall, this is a great value, with a friendly and attentive staff, where you can get a peaceful night's sleep despite it being in a somewhat busy area of Chesapeake."
