Taking our own garbage out. Never had to do that in all the time we have stayed in hotels.No lights out in the parking lot when we came home in the dark. No map in our room Of the facilities. Didn’t understand the TV and no instructions whatever.

Over Priced....Little Room....

I wouldn't pay this much for this place ever again. Its a pretty small hotel room, no mini fridge or microwave. We actually had to take our own garbage out, which is strange for a hotel room. The dumpsters to take it too were over flowing also. It was a nice room and in good shape just way over priced!!

Great stay

Great place. Two fantastic restaurants and an amazing bakery on location. We stayed in the villas and not in the hotel portion itself. Also the activities available on site are excellent!

The Villa’s were cute, but that’s not enough to bring us back. We booked with the attraction to the jetted tub, which was broken. No response from property manager when contacted. Bed was just as uncomfortable as sleeping on the floor. And the NOISE!!! Get ready for 4 am wake up calls to screaming children running up and down the hallways, in adjoining rooms, or anywhere else in the vicinity for that matter. You can hear EVERYTHING!

Villa was good, spacious, comfortable. Villas have keurigs. Need regular coffee pot. Only two coffee pods were provided for 4 days w/3 adults...but 6 tea pods. When we called front desk to request more, we were told Zermatt didn't service our Villa. Need additional garbage bags too... wiuld stay again. Good location.

Great place for a family staycation!

We took our family of 8 for a staycation. The accommodations were spacious with 3 bedrooms/3baths which made it nice for getting that many people ready each day. The pool/hot tub were very nice and clean. Close to many activities such as tubing at soldier hollow, skiing, snow shoe trails. We did have to wait 45 minutes for a cart to load all our belongings to get to our room when we arrived. Other than that, a great experience and would recommend!

Spacious Room, Perfect Location, Stunning Views

Amazing time at Chateau Villas. Very close to the Homestead Crater, lots of room to spread out and loved the split bedroom plan with the living room in the middle. Kitchen had everything we needed. Covered parking spot was a welcome surprise! Will definitely stay here again!

Dirty room, loud

There was dirty socks and underwear left on the floor from the previous guest. It was behind a chair. There was a party going on below us after midnight. Extremely noisy. They assured us they took noise complaints seriously and would take care of it but never did. Then they stopped answering the phone. They also want you to take your trash out to the dumpster when you leave. So what are we paying housekeeping for?

I’ve stayed in these before but I’ve always had the hotel manage them. It was different going through the vacation homes. I love the place. We always stay in the villas. This time we got 2 queen and king suite with the kitchen. I didn’t give it an excellent as my experience this time was not as great as my previous. We stayed 2 nights. Fri-sun. They are $25 to bring you clean linens and another $25 clean up the room. For the costs to stay here I expected better amenities. Wifi was not very good. Only 4 kuregg Coffee cups, the salt and better were gone. It’s a bit of a walk to take your trash too, which again, not a big deal but when your 350 a night... I expect better service. Location is amazing, zermatt hotel is amazing. I just love going up here and escaping the world.

Great unit and property

The location and property was amazing, the room as well. There was a misrepresentation about the amount of beds on the vrbo website vs the actual owner's site, not sure how that happened. Needless to say it was a surprise when when we saw there was one queen bed less than we thought. I got in touch with the owner and he was amazing and brought up a roll away bed himself right away. It worked out fine but I will say initially trying to get a hold of a VRBO agent was ridiculous and ultimately not helpful. The owner however was awesome.

Just an ok stay!

All in all was a good stay, not great! Seemed over crowded this weekend but we were still able to make the most it. The room was pretty nice and the pool although crowded was very nice. We are at one of the restaurants on the resort it was good, but a bit on the expensive side for being a buffet!

The villas are a charming place to stay, especially in winter. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook some of our meals, the beds were very comfortable and it is located in a perfect place to get to winter activities like skiing or tubing.

Ghost Town at the Zermatt

The remote to the TV seemed broken and was impossible to operate. Many channels were "audio only" with no way to change the setting. We were stuck with a local news channel or the weather channel mostly. No one to greet us or answer questions. We were warned, but it was a ghost town. No hair dryer. No one to ask. The "event center" was not marked. We had tickets to see a Saturday evening performance but we were late because we could not find the damn building. It had no signage. Again, no one to ask. No phone number to call for assistance and very overpriced in our opinion. No microwave. A small refrigerator only by chance, left from a previous request. We were in a privately-owned unit, but we will not stay again.

Had an excellent time at the Chateau Villas. The activities were a lot of fun. The only problems we had were on the first night. Couldn't get a correct answer on the room Wi-Fi until the next morning. Had the wrong menus for the restaurant downstairs and my chicken quesadilla was prepared incorrectly. Our room had a fireplace that was advertised in the things included in our room. but the front desk person made it sound like an inconvenience to have to come upstairs to light the fireplace cause I was cold. So we went without it all weekend because he was bothered that he would have to come light the pilot light. Other than that, we had an awesome time.
