The hotel itself is good with a comfortable room, good tea/coffee area and breakfast, and most of the front office staff were excellent. However, slow handling of major issues and slow measures to redress (refund due 24 hours ago and still not processed) means I wouldn't stay here again.

Ibis Alesia Montparnasse
A small compact hotel with a small reception area.Very clean & well maintained in communal areas.My room was also very clean & tidy.Buffet breakfast was good quality.A good location but not really in Montparnasse.

Extremely small rooms! The photos do not capture how small these rooms are! There is literally no space to open a suitcase, and no closet space, definitely not suitable for two persons. I was traveling with my elderly mother, and she could not walk to the bathroom without tripping over. We really could not stay at this hotel and had to check out early. The staff was quite friendly but gave us false hope that the hotel management would refund our money for the unused portion of our stay. After months of emails and repeatedly calling Expedia, they refused the refund after 3 months. They should clearly highlight the size of this room and not expect the user to read all the review comments.

Dear client, Our photos on our website reflect the size of our rooms. Also the guests of our hotel mention very often the size of the rooms in the revievs . You chose the prepayd rate which is not refundable.

Excellent value for this area of Paris. Room compact but quiet, bathroom fine, breakfast a little disappointing, basic. Close to secure car parks and metro stops.

It is a small hotel in a peaceful neighborg . Not a place for luxury vacation but for a tourist tríp.Good value for its price.

Six Nations weekend
Stayed weekend 9th of March for the 6 nations game . I have been a few time before & my requirement was to be near the SNCF station Denfort Rochereau as it has great service to the stadium & we also like the general area. Found a bargain in the IBIS Alesia for 2 nights with breakfast. Rooms small as most hotels in Paris are, but it was very clean & comfortable for our needs. Breakfast was perfect & excellent coffee( not sure why coffee always tastes better in Paris !) Overall a great stay its not a Marriott but a great budget hotel which ticked all the boxes for our rugby trip. PS Get rid of the pictures with animal dressed up as humans !

Just needed a comfortable bed for 8hrs
Very short stay. Checked in at 1am & departed after breakfast (included in the rate) at 9am. Compact room with a very comfortable bed and clean bathroom. 24hr reception. 10 mins walk from Alesia metro station.

Nice hotel near to the buses and Metro and Tram
Staffs are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is the same every day, I recommend to drink the fresh orange jus every morning.

Went to Paris for a few days, only went to hotel to sleep, was very comfortable bed and very nice breakfast, which been served every morning 6 to 10 am , enjoyed my stay would stay down there again !!!

Our stay in this hotel went perfectly fine, from the welcoming staff to the amazing breakfast. Room was small but very clean, shower and bathroom also.

The hotel air conditioning was broken. My entire 4 night stay was horrible and hotel management seems not caring to make it a priority to get it fixed. I checked on SAT, learnt that in few hrs and asked how soon the AC gets fixed. I was told Monday but learnt that it was not even fixed till the day we left.

I like this hotel because is located in a safe neighborhood, it was quiet at night, I walked late at night around and never felt unsafe. Within walking distance to Alesia metro station and several restaurants, coffee shops and stores around. In the mornings, breakfast was included and it was good. The staff spoke English as well and they were helpful. I have not complains so far, I am staying here again for four more nights.

The rooms are tiny, but the bed is comfortable and the shower is good. The staff are friendly, helpful, and speak good English.

One of the worst hotels I have stayed in.
This hotel may come under Accor Group but is nothing like other hotels of Accor. We had 2 rooms booked for late June and the cooling of both the rooms were not working. When we told the staff we were said that the cooling was not working since a week! So just deal with it. The rooms are small (we expected that) but when the cooling is not working, it gets very stuffy. It was very hot inside those small rooms with just 1 small window (which wouldn't even open fully). I even wrote a email to the Accor Group but haven't got any reply. Steer clear of this hotel. The only good thing is the location (near to Alesia underground station) but Paris is so well connected by metro everywhere, that this factor isn't that important.

no one should ever try this hotel
1) the lift was not working during our entire stay, we were suppose to use the fire exit which was a bloody too narrow to move with our small kid 2) the hotel staff was very rude 3) the hotel staff was very very racist 4) on the name of continental breakfast there was only bread and that too was always exhausted 5) as you open the door the room would end. except a bed there is no space in the room.

Amazing, modern and friendly
I stayed at this hotel for 6 days, 5 nights and I was thoroughly welcomed by a comfortable room and great multi-lingual staff. The rooms were cleaned and bright. The free breakfast was delicious and the staff was very helpful with any questions we had. I would go back to this hotel again when I'm in Paris.

Great location
Nice little no frills hotel. Perfect location if you fly in to Orly. Easy to access whole of Paris. Rooms are small but you get used to it. Bed was new so really comfortable, room was clean, nice big shower in ensuite. We had a really nice stay, staff were pleasant.

The hotel is situated well - it is easy to go by metro to the most popular places in Paris and on the other hand the surrounding of the hotel is less crowded. Breakfast is very tasty and accomodation seems to be as good as new. For a short stay the hotel is very nice, but has very small rooms. Our room has had no wardrobe, no desktop and just a small corridor around the bed. If you dont need more the hotel is a nice place.
