Decent hotel for the price, but nothing whatsoever like the photos represented on Expedia. Extremely dark, tiny rooms and there was an abundance of very obvious black mold in the shower. Staff was friendly and helpful, but the rooms are lackluster, at best.

The hotel was so fun due to the amazingly fun and friendly staff. The blonde receptionist stood out as a really fun and friendly love for the hotel and for life. The night staff was just as friendly and patient and that made it the best hotel I have stayed at in Paris. It makes up for the outside area although it is central and in walking distance to most things if you enjoy a good stroll. We will definitely be back. Thank you for making our experience 10 out of 10

The room was updated but with poor grade materials. The room was clean but the lobby had poor quality furniture that was very worn. The property was still under construction in sections and the updates made were poor quality and lacked some attention to detail (ex: our bathroom door did not shut without force).

Staff was very nice and friendly, however it was very cold in the room (wasn’t possible walk in short and for sleep sweater and sweatpants were required). We asked to turn on heating or give to us additional blanket, however non of the requests were completed. There is a lot of dust in a room and particularly under bad. Our towels were not changed over 4 days. Even when we placed them on the floor as requested for change they were folded back wet and placed on shelf as clean. Area of hotel didn’t felt safe and was very far from everything.

Hotel Brady may be a bit hard to find at first. It is mainly on the interior of a block, with an entrance door and a sign only on the boulevard, All of the furnishings are fresh and modern. I suspect the street is noisy but we had a room far in the interior that was quiet. Good breakfast, helpful staff. Conveniently located for anyone traveling in an out of Gare du Nord or Gare de l'Est. If you appreciate diversity, it is an interesting multi-ethnic neighborhood with a dominance of African businesses.

The hotel’s front door is located on stratsburg Blvd which is a main artery to the city center. The seine is about a 15 minute walk.

Great funky hotel - loved it!!!
Great little hotel right in the middle of the Bonne Nouvelle area. 2 metro stations within a block, and right around the corner from Porte Sainte-Denis. The room, though a little on the small side, was perfect (and the A/C was incredible). Service was friendly and reliable (spoke English as well as a host of other languages). The additional breakfast offered was good, lots of choices, although for those who have not travelled to Europe - breakfast generally does not include hot options, save for coffee, etc. The hotel is actually made up of a few buildings connected by courtyards - so it's really quite funky. All in all I would absolutely stay again!!!

Very friendly staffs. Breakfast is served with cold food. Due to them not having a real kitchen. The cold cuts and crepes were decent. The coffee machine was the best. The rooms were very small but just enough for you to walk around the bed and to the bathroom. The bathroom is very small as well but it’s just enough to walk by. Don’t expect too much for any French hotels. It’s all small due to their spacing issue. Overall I like this hotel cause it was close enough to some of the attractions and shipping districts. Lot of good restaurants around the area as well. Uber and trains are available nearby.

The staff at the front counter were very welcoming and very helpful to assist us with local directions. Our room was serviced daily and although small it was very clean. The staff also helped us on our final day safely securing our luggage so we could have one last day exploring Paris.

Very nice and quiet. Great staff!!!
After an original mishap with our reserved suite that wasn't ready, the staff quickly moved to give us something just as nice. Wonderful breakfast buffet and very quiet (no street noise). Neighborhood is lively and very convenient for Metro and SNCF.

We loved our stay here! It was our first time in Paris and it felt like a perfect fit - in a great spot, good food all around, and fun vintage shops nearby! Great staff that was super helpful especially with you crazy early arrival from the US. Will be back and telling everyone!

Good tourist base camp
I will start with the hotel: it is welcoming, clean, and secure. The room is what you would expect in europe, slightly small but very accommodating. The neighborhood looks slightly sketchy, but it is perfectly safe to walk around day or night. Plenty of restaraunts nearby. The staff is awesome. The breakfast is great. Ask for an additional pillow since the two supplied are on the small side. Now to paris in general: lots to do and see. I recommend buying tickets in advance for thw eiffel tower and the louvre. DO NOT ride the metro during rush hour. The pickpockets use the cramp space to take your valuables. If you have to ride it, keep a hand on your stuff. If a guy comes at you yelling, "Pardon, Pardon, pardon" you are the target. I highly recommend this hotel as it is close to the train station and has a metro station a block away. My favorite part was the breakfast.

We were a group of 5 in two rooms - one classic double and one triple room. The double room was of course small as you would expect in Europe, therefore I would suggest if you are debating this hotel, definitely go with the Superior room for extra space. The hotel itself is located a 2 minute walk from a big intersection with lots of restaurants and action. Two subway stations very close. However I would recommend to be aware of your surroundings at night if travelling back to the hotel alone, always travel with someone. The hotel and room was great for the 4 days we needed it for. However the fans in both bathrooms weren't functioning and you can see spots of mold beginning to form. The hotel is renovated as per the photos but some of the finishings are already starting to be worn down. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and the staff during our entire stay was even better!!! This is what made our experience so special. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Brady for making us feel comfortable and welcomed.

A real find!
Fine place to stay--was convenient for me and I already knew and liked the neighborhood vibes--the staff was frendly and helpful, the room fine, and the breakfast a pleasant surprise--such a generous selection of many things, unusual for a little Paris hotel from eggs and cheese to fruit and juice and cereal and selection of pastries, the best I've ever had in Paris. Would definitely stay there again.

If your taking your wife then don’t stay in this area, it’s quite dirty and full of gangs of men loitering outside of the shops, makes you feel really uneasy , we paid for three nights stay at hotel Brady but ask for a refund on two, the hotel kindly agreed to refund, staff were friendly but the hotel is not what you would expect - if you want a romantic stay then the 7th Arrs is the best area - really relaxed and good vibe this is where we moved to and would definitely revisit
