There was nothing to like, the staff were terrible. The hotel was a building site. There were urine stains on both my blanket and mattress. The whole building stunk of urine and weed.

It was ok for the price, but we got a room on the 6th floor and since the elevator was out of order it was really difficult for us to be climbing all the stairs with and without luggage.

No elevator and no breakfast.
Elevator didn't work, so imaging up to 6 floors in tiny staris with our luggage. They didn't offer breakfast, and in the description when I reserved at Hotels.com it says it did. Anyhow, we loved Paris so this issues didn't affect our mood.

Terrible service sketchy location
The staff was absolutely horrible - no one spoke English either the hotel is under construction with insane amount of noise and construction materials all over the floor rooms are super small barely space for one person advertised as 2 people and elevators were out of service which is not mentioned especially when you have a family with 6 suitcase and you have to physically move luggage up the stairs to 3 td floor

Definately not a 3 star hotel as advertised
This is definately not a 3 star hotel. The location was Ok and the front desk staff were helpful. Other than that I would NOT recommend this hotel at all. It was very run down, the elevator did not work (room on 5th floor), the ceiling lamp did not work, our room wreaked of cigarettes and you can clearly hear the guests in neighboring rooms clearly. The guest to our right would have music until about 3am and smoked like a chimney.

More of a 2-star hotel
The place looked good in the pictures, but when I showed up to my room, I was quite surprised. There was a brown stain on the sheets, dust on the headboard and lamps. The floor was dilapidated. The price is reasonable, but I think the unit I got was indicative of a 2-star hotel. It wasn’t like the other 3 stars in France.

Week in Paris
For a budget hotel it was everything we would expect. It was clean, the bathroom was spacious and well kept. Very close to eateries and bars, Metro and bus into tourist spots. Free Wifi and TV. Could easily spend a few days in this area exploring. Has a small lift and no winding staircase for my wife (fear of heights) was really greatful for.

The only thing I liked was the location. Otherwise it was absolutely dirty room, for 5 days they cleaned and changed the sheets 2 times only! When I asked them to change them the last day they only left me clean towels and thats all. Dirty place, awful attitude of the reception, I recommend only if you were tired of going in clean hotel rooms and you want to try something different (dust, dirty floor, etc.) Btw the images you provide cannot be compared with the real situation inside! Do NOT recommend!

It’s the worse hotel I have ever been. It shouldn’t have any star. The room is very small. Bathroom is the smallest bathroom I have ever seen. You can move inside the bathroom. No air conditioning inside the room. You can’t even request to have a fan. The staff are horrible. You ask for something they ignore it and they don’t answer the phone when you call them. The room and bed sheets are dirty. The room full of insects. I booked for 4 nights but had to leave the next day and lost my money. ☹️

Disturbing noise in the room
The pictures in the hotels webpage are FAKE. Actually the room is very small, and NO air conditioning so that it is quite sultry in the hot summer. The most disturbing is the noise of water tubing, so you cannot fall asleep at all. It is not recommended to book the hotel.

A "three-star hotel" which may not merit tw
This was one of the cheapest single rooms I could find in Paris for my dates, and I chose to move there from an f1 hotel beyond the péréphérique because of the more centrallocation and because of its (unjustified) claim to be a three-star establishment. My small room was very dark, with only a small frosted window at one end which opened onto inner walls. The shower tray was blocked.

This hotel is terrible. I was in shock that they charge more than 100€ for a room like this. No air conditioning at all. You have to sleep.with the window open. If you are next to the street you wont be able to sleep because is a super noise street. On weekend there are a lot of drunk people. The shower is extremely small. Room smells like mold. Far from everything.

This hotel is run like a hostel. A room to sleep in that's all. Too many negatvities to describe. Ever will I stay in such a run down place. From the exterior to the interior this place needs a major renovation and better staffing.

I read the many not so good reviews. In my case the location and price was more important so I took a chance for one night thinking I would leave if my experience was like other reviews implied. It was not. I stayed all three nights of my trip. The staff were very accommodating. There was a nice le petit dejeuner.

This hotel is awful.
This hotel is awful. The lobby is dark and decrepit. The rooms are.disgusting. it is rated a 3 star but that was obviously an error. The carpet on the stairs is filthy. The windows are really filthy. The whole place smells heavily of smoke. We booked five nights but left after one night. We didn't sleep in the bed because we were afraid of bed bugs. We slept on the laminate floor in our room.

NASTY DANGEROUS "hotel"?
After checking into this "hotel" through hotels.com, I soon nearly was Killed. As I was taking a Shower in the bathroom, the Drains of this dangerous "hotel" immediately flooded the Shower room, and, Exposed me to TWO Separate DANGERS. FIRST DANGER THE FLOODING FLOWING INTO THE BEDROOM, where I had an Electrical Devise Recharging. ELECTRICITY AND WATER WOULD HAVE KILLED ANYONE TAKING A SHOWER! Second DANGER, BECAUSE THE "hotel" drains were Blocked And my "bedroom" was on the Ground Floor, all DIRT AND DISEASE FROM THE "hotel" drains FLOODED BEDROOM 001. The FLOODING PROBLEM HAS EXISTED IN THE SUB-STANDARD "hotel" for a LONGTIME, As the Structural Walls are Showing Signs of RISING DAMP. Personally I do NOT Believe this "hotel" is suitable for any Human Being! And after this REVIEW IF ANY HUMAN BEING IS KILLED IN THIS DANGEROUS "hotel" THE FRENCH POLICE WILL PROSECUTE THE OWNERS AND MANAGERS OF THIS DANGEROUS "hotel". When I complained, the "manager" referred me to cpmplain back to hotels.com. Here is my COMPLAINT!

Maid threw out my expensive dental appliance!!
The hotel during most of my stay was fine, but the day before I checked out, the cleaning lady threw my expensive dental appliance in the garbage! It had been in a ziplock bag with a few other toiletries on a shelf above the sink. I know that it wasn't intentional, but it should not have happened. Since then, I have contacted the manager twice by email and once by phone in attempt to receive compensation, and each time I have been ignored. I have not heard ANYTHING from the hotel. They haven't even apologized for costing me 650$. Based on their complete disregard for me as a customer, I would NEVER recommend them to anybody.

Room barely good for one person. The paid WiFi can not reach up the fourth floor, they did not clean the room for the last day. Not sure how they rated it 3 star. 1/2 star is too much for it. Really funny what they call it separate bathroom. Will stay a mile away next time

Great cheap hotel.
My only complaint is that this hotel is slightly out of the way, we thought it looked close to the center of Paris on the map but soon discovered it was a 2 hour walk to the Eiffel tower. Apart from this the hotel itself was great, the staff spoke good English and were able to get us into our room quickly. The rooms itself was pretty spacious and the beds were good quality. Overall a great hotel for the price.

Crap. This is a zero star hotel.
Stinky and dirty. The first room had no light and after complaining the attendant said with an attitude - can't you sleep with ligths off? Second room was pure cigarrete smell.

Too small!!
The hotel is clean and maintained, but way too small!! My friend and I are very skinny, but each of us had a hard time in a shower cabin since we would keep touching the walls. The stuff of the hotel was friendly. The location of this hotel was fine as well, within a walking distance to a metro. I just think this place is overpriced comparing to it's value, and I didn't like the idea of paying 5 euro/day for using a safety box.

Will never stay here again.
Location already out of no way for tourist,services was bad and unfriendly and unhelpful staff,no air-cond so skip the summer stay. It is definitely not worth the value that we paid to stay a here,can't think of any encouraging words to say about this hotel which they claims to have 3 star rated.

a great choice for the budget minded
The Hipotel is a low cost but good value for Paris. My room was surprisingly large (a twin bed plus a double bed; full size bathroom). It was quiet and clean, but with no frills.
