The staff was excellent and very helpful, this being my first time in Paris. Only thing I perhaps did not like at first was when you go out you have to give the desk the room key. At first this seemed strange but it was not a problem at all. I am sure they are just trying to monitor who is coming and going for safety reasons

Excellent hotel that doesn't cost a fortune.Very helpful desk employees. Great location. Very comfortable. Only complaint (although not their fault) is very noisy outdoor bar across the street! Ugh.

Not good as a double room
Our "pass sanitaire" was not checked at book in and frequently guests were in the lounge area without masks. Some signage regarding number of people in the lift would have been helpful, my wife was subjected to other guests crowding in around her; she exited the lift and took the stairs. An old towel was found under the bed. The bed was small and uncomfortable, several times I nearly fell out, and didn't once have a decent night's sleep. The room was too small for a standard double, probably okay as a single. The staff were friendly and helpful, it is the owner/management who need to get their act together.

Our hotel du loiret complied with closing the sanitary instructions, because during the period of 15 months, we were closed like other hotels. be aware that the health pass is not compulsory to stay in a hotel in Paris (in France) We cannot also manage the number of people in the elevators. in terms of bedding, all our large beds are for two people. The Almost Grad Loiret Hotel
It was just ok. I loved the location. The bed was not very comfortable. The room lacked A/C, which was a huge drawback. Not very few negatives all in all. Staff was friendly and cordial. I think for the price, breakfast should have been included.

Location is great. Hotel is clean. The local area is busy at night, with no air conditioning in the middle of summer you need to either choose a hot room or have slightly disturbed sleep

Nice hotel in a good location. We had a room on the 7th floor, which meant that we had to take the spiral stairs from the 6th floor, but that wasn't a problem. Front desk staff were hit and miss - the person we had at check in wasn't super friendly, but the person we had at check out was very friendly and helpful with directions to the metro to get directly to the airport.

It was very rude from the front desk to only ask about my one specific friend’s ID when he/she visited me while when my other friends from a different background visited me no ID was requested and even when I checked in myself no iD was requested at all. The floors were very dirty, the chair on the side was stained and full of dust, there’s barely any soap and no other toiletries

This is one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. First, the room I received looked nothing like the hotel I booked. Second, there was no hot water and they didn’t tell us when we were checking in. We waited 3 hours for the hot water to come back (which it never did) before we checked out and went down the street. Avoid at all costs.

Great Location
No airconditioning. No parking beside building. You can park car in underground public parking across from the building on Rue de Rivoli and then bring your luggage up from the garage to cross the street. Starbucks is on the corner when you come out the front door for an early and quick breakfast.

Wonderful location and very helpful staff.
Wonderful location and very helpful staff. We would have liked stronger water pressure in the shower however the room itself was quite spacious and the view was spectacular. The breakfasts were very good and the staff were obliging with any of our questions. They had a very good knowledge of English which helped us.

This is my third stay at this hotel. Great location but tiny rooms. Like a lot of hotels in Europe there is no AC so I wouldn’t stay here in the warmer months. I would stay here again.

The location of the hotel was great. The room was small but with a cute balcony. Beds and pillows were not the most comfortable, however it was fine for a three night stay. ***THE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE!*** My daughter and I stayed there for three nights. The staff were incredibly rude and were not helpful at all! We didn't ask for much other than some suggestions for places to eat, asked for directions once and then asked for the front desk to print out tickets for a tour for us. Each time, we were treated as though we were interrupting them and were brushed off. When we asked for the best transportation to get to the airport the following day, the man told us that we could walk, take the metro or taxi and turned back to his computer. Keep in mind, there was NO ONE else in the lobby when we were asking for assistance. The men at the front desk simply did not want to be bothered by our inquiries. We travel quite a bit and in my experience, hotel staff are always one of the best resources for the questions we had and we did not ask for much. I will NEVER stay here again and will be sure to advise anyone I know to avoid this hotel. There are plenty of other hotels in the same price range with better, friendlier service. During our travels through London and Paris, this was the ONLY occasion where we encountered rude, horrible people. The people in France were so friendly and wonderful, this hotel experience was quite unfortunate.

Great location
If you want a very basic but clean hotel option this is for you. Room was tight but not tighter than any other hotel in this range in Paris- maybe even slightly bigger. Marais location is excellent if you want a lot of food, shopping and bar options. Can be a bit noisy however since there is a late night bar right across the street.

Thanksgiving in Paris
The Grand Hotel du Loiret was very centrally located to everything we wanted to do in Paris. It's minutes away from Notre Dame and even closer to the metro. Staff was very helpful. The room and in room bathroom were clean, but small by "American" standards. But then again, we weren't in America. Since we were only there to sleep, it worked out just fine. Highly recommend the Jewish coffee shops/bakeries just a few short minutes away.

Be aware that there is hardly space to keep your luggage and walk around. There was a large step up into the shower and if you are over 6 feet tall you will be too tall for the shower.
