Your experience here will definitely depend on what you're looking for. There was everything from groups of college kids to old couples (Despite the supposed upper age limit). You get breakfast in the morning, but it reminds me of something out of Les Miz: Hard bread with jam/butter, juice box, little sweet cake thing, coffee/hot choc from the machine.
The beds were good enough, and the fact that you can have single-gender rooms of down to three people is a life saver. But that's counteracted by the fact that the staff kicks you out of the rooms from 11 to 3 every day...which is exactly when you want to have a nap if you're jetlagged.
The bathroom in my room smelled like rotten eggs, which was disturbing and gross. The communal showers had good hot water and pressure, but the door to the facilities itself was just a saloon-style swing door, so anyone could peer in while you were changing...and one day, there was a middle-aged naked man just standing in front of the mirror for over an hour, waiting for women to come in. My roommate and I yelled at him and had the staff escort him away, but still...unsettling.
I was lucky to have a corner room, so it was pretty quiet most of the time, and when people were loud, you could politely tell them you were sleeping and they'd keep it down. But if you are in the long hall, that could differ.
9/10 of the staff is wonderful. One is grouchy. Staff has an annoying habit of pumping up the music in the lobby the more people appear.
