*Title: Disappointing stay: Far below 3-star standards*
*Overall Impression*
It is honestly hard to believe that the Art Hotel Eiffel holds a 3-star rating. Based on our experience, the lack of professionalism and the poor state of the facilities make it feel significantly lower than its official category.
*Service and First Impressions*
Our arrival set the tone for the rest of the stay. The lobby appeared dated and not particularly clean. We were greeted by a disheveled receptionist with his wrinkled shirt half-untucked, who barely managed a "Good afternoon" and a curt "Passports."
When we politely requested a second keycard, he didn't say a word; instead, he programmed it with a visible gesture of annoyance. There was no welcome, no explanation of the hotel’s amenities, no directions to the room, and zero information regarding breakfast.
We went to the desk to ask a question, and it was empty. After 15 minutes, the same receptionist arrived in a rush, holding a sandwich in one hand and a phone in the other, having a loud and heated argument with someone. He made us—and a family waiting to check in—wait until he finished his call before treating everyone with the same indifference we experienced on day one.
*Room Condition and Maintenance*
The room was in a state of neglect. The flooring was peeling throughout, as well as the bathub. Air conditioning was another ordeal.
