"When I booked this thru Expedia I messaged the establishment to make sure there were no stairs as my senior mom could Not do stairs. I was assured our room was on the first floor and would accommodate us. After travelling 24hrs, and a $140 euro taxi ride from Lamezia airport to Tropea Alla Corte degli dei Air BnB, to our shock my mom would have to climb over 40 stairs to reach our room!!! Not to mention our driver advised us there was no way the beach was as close as in the description. A...

"First of all, we did not expect much, because it should be a beach vacation. So we only needed this room to sleep in and shower. Our Flight left early in the morning, so we asked kindly if a sooner check in is possible. It was, so we checked in at 11:00 am. The rooms were clean the first day, later the rooms were not cleaned for 10 days. Even thou we booked the room stating: daily cleaning. Top Parghelia Hotel Reviews

Tropis Hotel

8/10 Good

"Great pool and location. Good parking."

Capovaticano Resort Thalasso Spa

10/10 Excellent

"The property was absolutely stunning. Though it was supposedly at capacity it felt like there were only a few of us staying most the time. It was very quiet and very restful. The amenities were wonderful. The only complaint would be our dinner meal at the main restaurant. It was not good at all and so we did not return there the second night. But the breakfast and bar menu, although limited was good."

Villaggio La Pizzuta

8/10 Good

"This place has spectacular views and looks like a Hobbit Village set in the hills of Tropea area. Elevator to the beach is excellent and property is extremely charming. There were plenty of things to do and see (views of volcano, swimming, pool bar, evening music). Power is dated and could use an upgrade but a cute mini-village with some spectacular gardens and scenery."
