"This is among my best stays in Romania. The hotel is newish, excellent location near main st, staff polite and trained, room, cleanliness, everything just they way it should be. the price? a deal. just don't loose time finding another place to stay while in Brasov. by car you can get anywhere in the city. this is notr an inconvenience."

"Casa Gotica Residence is a beautifully restored property inside of a lovely old building located right on Republic Street in Brasov old town. Location could not be better! Close walking distance to all of the major sites. Staff nailed the check-in process. I’m not normally a fan of places that don’t have a permanently staffed front desk, but they sent a couple of easy to follow videos that made all the difference. Highly recommended!"

"Nice place, cozy, big room and bathroom, free parking on site, but.. the receptionist had some issues! First, she was very upset about the internet speed that she had to work with (not my problem!), then she asked me how I would like to pay (everything was already paid for since the reservation was made!) and top of all was in the morning when she told me she had to wait for 20 minutes because I was late for breakfast (what else beside smoking and drinking coffee did she have to do, anyway?)"
