"The beach was further away than what was described and the “road” was not an actual road. The amenities ended up being less than what was listed, there are no washers, no parking, wifi sucks, etc. the pool was not clean, the food remained the same every day. It’s far from the main road. Towels were never changed, sheets never changed, never sweeper or mopped the room and we stayed for a decent time. "This property is beautiful, we stayed in a pool room and loved the views and it was very clean and the bed comfortable which was a plus. The breakfast is a bit limited but more than adequate. The staff were wonderful and friendly. The property is in a steep hill but a driver is available to take you up the hill but we liked the walking challenge. There are also plenty of lifts as needed. The beach is a short walk away as is the bus stop for the very organised bus service. There are also some very lovely greek tavernas near by so plenty of choices for eating out."

"We have just left a perfect week at Villa Albanis. It was ideally situated for many tavernas and bars with easy access to bus stop 15 to travel about the Island. We had a 2 bedroomed apartment on the 1st floor with lovely views over the pool and pine trees. It was very clean and serviced daily by a lovely lady who always greeted us with a friendly face. She also helped us arrange a return taxi to the airport. Would definitely go back and would highly recommend."

"We had a great stay at Margi House. The room was beautifully furnished, and the outdoor jacuzzi was so lovely. The hill, which many mentioned, wasn’t too bad and was easily doable. The receptionist was super helpful and friendly - always with a smile on her face. Just a few things that could be improved: our coffee & water glasses weren’t cleaned until the last day. Since we didn’t have a kitchenette, this would have been nice. The main pool was lovely, but we did have to fish out a lot of bugs - perhaps this is something that could’ve kept on top of. Overall, a great stay at Margi House!"

"The hotel is situated on the side of a hill which offers great panoramic views across the bay. There are quite a number of steps if you are walking from the pool or bar and restaurant area so may not be suited with those with accessibility needs. We had a room which also included a shared pool with an adjoining appointment. The room itself was nice, It was clean and comfortable. The children were sleeping on the mezzanine above us which worked well however had caution younger children using this because the steps and ladders are very steep. The staff across the complex in particular the restaurants and bar staff were fantastic. Food at the restaurant was great and we ate there a couple of times, including the barbecue. Breakfast was a little disappointing as there wasn’t that much choice in terms of hot food. Would recommend walking into the restaurants and bars at the bottom of the hill as you come out of the hotel. Pork and roll specifically was one of our favourites. The beach is a 15 minute walk from the hotel down quite a steep path, again those with accessibility may struggle. It’s a nice beach though once you get down though."

"The property is in a great location, less than 5 mins walk from the beach, surrounded by restaurants and right by a bus stop. It had a terrace and garden, so it was nice to have outdoor space. Our only issue was that the electricity kept tripping. The owner was very responsive and came the first time it happened, then we just flipped the trip switch back ourselves. You couldn’t run the aircon or hot water with anything else as it kept tripping. Apart from this annoyance, I would recommend staying here. "
