"The place is always nice we'll stay again"

"We had three adults and an 80 lb. Lab. Room was ready, ample, clean, everything worked and the front desk was understanding that we needed a little extra time before checking out. It could have been more ornate/fancy, but it was adequate, comfortable, quiet and there was nothing they could have done better. Acid test; we'd stay there again without hesitation."

"Don't be misled by the high ratings—they were definitely faked. The carpet was covered in large black stains, and there was a pungent odor in the room. The towels looked like they’d been fished out of a trash can—tattered, stained, and completely worn out... the whole place felt like a refugee camp."

"Beautiful, modern hotel, different from what you usually find in CA. Good restaurant and rooftop bar. Great breakfast. However, the staff in the restaurant, rooftop bar, and room cleaning were a bit disorganized. Getting breakfast in the restaurant took pretty long on the first day; then in the rooftop bar, we waited 35 minutes for a lemonade and 25 minutes to order (it wasn't even crowded), and one day one bed was made, the other was not. Maybe they were short-staffed."
