"This is a great property if you wish to explore the south side of the island, or if you have your own vehicle. Unfortunately it is NOT 2.5 miles from the airport or the cruise ship port. "We very much enjoyed our stay at Fare Arihau Vairoo. The room was lovely and comfortable. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming and took care of us as though we were family. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. All the food was prepared by our host from local ingredients mostly grown in their own garden. All the food was exceptional and the service, some from our hosts little girls, was delightful."

"Pretty resort recently reopened south of the airport. Rooms are adequate with comfortable beds and good AC. Food there is very expensive and not too many walkable choices to eat nearby. Pool has sand entry. Staff is nice and helpful. Not really a swimable beach area - lagoon surrounds the over the water bungalows."
