Good staff and clean place

It's a most beautiful property and walks within and around are full of the most diverse greenery one can find in Central Java. But, there are several "but's" we encountered during our stay, including a most disappointing return to the villa, without it being cleaned after several hours of us away and just wishing to rest upon our return. Going to Borobudur is a must. Staying at Plataran is now, in my view (and I've been traveling in and around Asia for 30 years) a maybe.

After an easy check in we got to our spacious room. The beds are quite firm and not so comfortable but it was nice to have a fridge. Breakfast was fantastic with so many options- cereal, bread, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, rice, noodles, chicken… The pool was also really nice (and huge!) and on weekends they have kid activities. My daughter loved the activities and the staff made them very fun.
