I loved the room we stayed in! It was massive! I didnt expect to walk in to a loteral apartment! The view was beautiful! Just what i wanted! The little restaurants were absolutley delicious and the resort was close to everything! Best stay ever!

The room itself was okay, it’s walking distance from the beach. The elevator situation is terrible! We ended up taking the stairs to 17th floor a few times during our stay. They also charge an extra $100 dollars for parking so be prepared to pay that before you check in.

Very large condo resort with roughly 20 floors. Renovations ongoing throughout which is needed. Very large rooms which is nice but had a weird smell

I saw a lot of negative reviews for the elevator situation. We did not have that in mid-September except for Sunday morning checkout time- 15 min. We loved the spacious set up of the unit, the pools, and proximity to the beach! Would come back for sure!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there were a few things that made the difference between excellent and fine. For instance, the main bedroom had sliding door access to the balcony. It was east facing and had a view of a lovely lake/green space but also the main roads. The window treatment on the sliding doors was not blackout and also did not completely close, so the morning sun (at 5am) came straight through as did the street lights, car lights, business signs, and traffic lights at night.

The most unique thing about this location is how large the condo is!! I literally gasped when I walked through and saw all of the rooms and how beautiful the space is. The double doors leading out of the living area onto the balcony, and also from the bedroom too! I was blown away! The master bath having the tub and also standing shower, it was just so beautiful. The kitchen was absolutely gorgeous and the beds were so comfortable. It was all so beautifully decorated and I wanted to stay in the room as much as I wanted to explore the amenities around us. I might come back just to experience the luxury of this particular condominium. The only negative experience was the long line of checking in, it took about 1.5 hours standing in line, my 19 month old was restless and impatient- but to be honest I would do it 10 times over. It was worth every second of the line once we got to our room. I am amazed and can’t wait to come back to the Wharf Resort!!

Overall our week long stay at the Laketown Warf was okay. We had zero issues with the Condo itself. It was clean and everything worked as it should and communicating with our rental agency (Vacassa) was easy enough. With that said there were some issues outside of the Condo. First, the elevator situation is pretty ridiculous but if you’re smart and plan ahead you can make them work to your advantage. If not, be prepared for a wait especially if you’re a group of 4-5 and/or carrying beach supplies that increase your footprint. Next, I really didn’t care to have our vehicle stuck in the parking garage the whole time as it’s kind of a pain when you needed to drive. Speaking of driving - when we did drive we found it to be fairly easy to navigate around the area. The only restaurant within walking distance is Pineapple Willy’s which is directly across the street. There is a convenience store on the corner behind the property which is a plus, but it is kind of run down and the area around it trashy. There is also a Walmart behind the property that’s easily accessible by foot. Location to the beach is good with a quick cross of the street and down a private boardwalk. Get up early and get your beach set up done before the crowds and the crews setting up rental chairs get going! I woke at 6AM to set up beach stuff then go back and get breakfast. I improvised on our beach gear and set up after the 2nd day to accommodate the elevator situation - ditch the beach cart! Overall 7/10.

The condo was in a great area, awesome amenities on the property. Check in was wasy. Issues: Condo seems dirty and worn. Example; walls needed a good cleaning, especially by the bunk beds. Fridge needed to be wiped out from a small spill. Washer and dryer had notes to not use (so no extra towels and couldnt wash or even dry them) Now the worst part....BUGS!! Not totally sure if they were water bugs or roaches. But they were all over and in the kitchen csbinets. They were not out during the day so much, bit we really seen a lot at night. We seen several in the kitchen all over the cabinets and inside them. We didnt want to touch or use any of the provided dishes and silverware as the roaches/bugs were IN the cabinets with them. We also seen them around the baseboards of the sleeping areas, seeming to come out from the under. I tried to make sure we kept all our things away from those areas so as not to bring any home in our luggage. I am honestly worried we could easily infest our own home. I did try to contact the property by messages but received no response as of this writing. Also, if were staying longer i would have tried to get another place or refund or something. But we were there for a short stay for a wedding we went to. No. I did not try calling but didnt feel I should have to to tey multple ways to communicate. I have never left such a bad review as i am not hard to please. I just dont want anyone else stuck in the same position.

Very satisfied with the place overall.. but very unhappy in how Expedia setup the package deal with the flight… I had to drive 2 hours from Destin… this was very inconvenient and insulting… especially for the price I paid… flights cost the same going into Panama City

It’s listed as ocean view and on the beach. It was across and the balcony faced the other way. And theirs is an insanely high parking fee that’s not mentioned til after you book the room. Had several lights that didn’t work in the room

The unit was nice and style however the AC did not work and the temperature was constantly 79°, also the towels and the rugs were extremely dirty and filthy but everything else was nice
