"Just a great experience overall, we had some rental car issues upon arrival and the staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating of our situation. Any help that we needed, the staff went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Place was spotless clean, and every worker seemed to truly care about making sure we had a good stay."

"Room was clean and updated. Showerhead pressure was very good. Sauna- Need better instructions or explanation of time it takes for sauna to heat up because it did not seem to work after 20 minutes still not hot only warm. On Sunday, I went down to the gym on the 2nd floor around 7:25 AM and door did not allow me to get in even though the sign says it opens at 7 AM."

"Two blocks of street parking on Saturday nights for free after 8pm, through Sundays. You just have to walk. Douthbound toward the hotel. Worth saving $40. Be careful of the high bathtubs, coming down you should ask for help from family and hold on to the bars built into the shower/tub enclosure. It's a big scary step down. Short ppl: Beware. The hotel is well taken care of and you feel fresh and clean there."

"Great staff, especially Abby at the front desk, she was instrumental in making sure that my room was clean and comfortable, she was very accommodating. Also due to my allergies, the cleaning staff made sure to vacuum my room thoroughly. Breakfast was great and the restaurant’s food was excellent! I enjoyed the bike ride! Thanks for everything, I will definitely return to stay at the Shade Hotel again!"
