I would have given this hotel a great rating but we had major inconvenience the first night of 4 nights stay. We booked a junior suite room, which regrettably was facing very busy road and the soundproofing was terrible with windows not shutting properly and having significant gaps meaning it was like sleeping with an open window listening to vans, buses and mopeds racing down the road. We barely got any sleep the first night as it was so noisy even with earplugs in, when asked to be moved to a different room the staff were amazing, very understanding and accommodating. We were first offered to move the same room but on a different floor but we insisted to be moved to a room facing the courtyard instead - thankfully there was one available otherwise our holiday would’ve been ruined if we didn’t have a quiet alternative. I am really surprised how hotel management permit to have rooms like that available for bookings and the junior suite rooms facing the road really need to have serious soundproofing installed - we travel a lot and never had any problems staying in rooms facing the road before. The rest of the stay was very lovely - great breakfast, very clean and modern rooms and great amenities in the hotel itself.
