Check in was smooth and our stay was pleasant. The pool area was clean and an added plus that they had a jacuzzi. The hotel is walking distance to a few nice restaurants but not quite walkable to downtown. Overall a nice stay.

Our safe did not work the entire time and wasn’t given a diagnosis until 3 pm the next day. Could not be repaired. That style of motel and location requires a safe! No breakfast : coffee restaurant options on site. Cocktail bar never open.. I would choose second floor and first floor suite can hear walking upstairs very easily. Nice renoed rooms.. very clean pools and hot tub. No one at the pool but us so if you want a fun vibe this is not the place. Peaceful tho! Beds comfy. Coffee pods too weak. Not sure I like the lack of a front desk.

Draperies on two of the three windows were damaged and wouldn't close. Appeared there might have been a water issue in the "living room" area, carpet was damp. When the property was privately owned parking was free. There is now a charge for parking in a lot that is completely unsecure. Don't recommend!

What a wonderful little hotel! It has everything you need and want for a relaxing stay. Love the detail in the rooms like having a wine key!!! Honestly can’t wait to come back.

This property is a self check-in (no front desk) with keypads on all doors. You can also use your phone for faster entrance which is convenient. Not sure why we paid for parking when there is a good size parking lot behind the hotel. We were an hour early and can see our bedroom was ready but could not check in. However, there is also a luggage closet that is available if you need it. The most annoying thing was being able to hear the people upstairs just walking around and sounding like they were moving things. It sounds like stomping which I’m sure they weren’t but that’s what we initially thought. Other than that, everything else was nice in our room. We have a good size mini fridge, microwave, & sink (but smells from the drain). The pool and jacuzzi area was clean and the esthetics were nice for photos.

Airbnb model meets hotel industry. The lack of a traditional front desk might not appeal to many people. It also has its appeal for many today who do not like human interaction. For myself I feel its a hybrid model that I like. We saw staff in the morning who are quick to greet you and ask if you inquiry anything but are not around through the entire day. So with that stated my stay was a joy. Had an issue using the blue tooth entry so fail safe is the passcode which makes me feel just as safe using the keypad for door entry. Have no negative reviews and look forward to future stays at Sonder properties.

The Cole by Sonder charges for literally everything (the parking isn’t free despite what might be advertised here). Parking $15 a day for an open, unsecured lot. Early check-in? $20-$30 dollars depending on if you wanted to check in one or two hours early. When we got to our room, it was dirty (used wash cloth under the sink in the bathroom, dusty) and smelled bad (like sewage). But there’s no one around anywhere. The public area wasn’t cleaned until our third day, the restaurant/bar was never open, and the outdoor furniture is ripped/torn/incredibly torn. The rooms are not sound proof. We never had anyone come clean the room. It’s an old school AC unit. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Property lacks onsite staff so check in is online only. Not quick or easy or convenient. Spent more than an hour outside in the sun sorttng out the check in with customer service. Every aspect of stay is done via app, and app wasn’t cooperating. And this saves the hotel how much by not having a front desk? Don’t recommend this..

Beautiful Facility if You Can Get In.
Check in was extremely difficult because of faulty door , and I’ll equipped support staff at that time. They basically said I would not have another issue if I did not leave my room. I could not enter room or even the compound itself the next day.

It was a decent stay…I didn’t realize that there was no check in person, and everything was communicated with an 800 number. However, they were efficient with their explanation for the most part. It would have been nice to have access to additional towels and a microwave. Overall, it was nice and close to downtown and many attractions.

Sonder properties are low-touch, that’s fine, just expect that. The floor in my bathroom was so filthy I dropped some water on it and used a towel and it came off filthy. Good amenities in the room.

Check in and check out was by far the easiest. Everything is done on the app. The pin to enter and leave the hotel was such a huge thing. It feels safe knowing you need a pin to enter.

I enjoyed the ease of finding the motel and also the ease in using the code and finding my room. It’s great to see over 21 lodging. The room was perfect, with a/c and cleanliness. As someone who suffers from anxiety, checking in can sometimes feel overwhelming with front desk checking in. This was perfect for me as I didn’t have to deal with the anxiety of having to talk to someone. Also the decor was so cool and modern. I celebrated my birthday weekend here and I loved this place and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet, and relaxing place to lodge at.

Pleasantly Surprised
I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was. With a last minute trip i didn't expect much from one of the lowest prices I found but this hotel was awesome. Amazingly comfortable bed, clean bedding, and clean room. The pool looked like it needed a little cleaning but was still usable and there were some ants in the bathroom but not surprising with how hot it was outside. Enjoy the stay, definitely would stay again.

Looking forward to staying there again. North end is quiet and easy access to the rest of town. Wish there were better coffee within walking distance or a better coffee maker in the unit. With time I hope the A/C unit will be upgraded to a quieter one. I used the white noise machine provided which is a nice touch.Otherwise comfortable stay.

Lovely property with tasteful upgrades. We stayed in a 1bdrm King Suite and it was spacious, clean. Mini frig but no microwave, which was really the only amenity we would have liked. Pool was open, clean, and beautiful. The hot tub was warm and roomy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We would have liked the pool bar and restaurant to be open more hours. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Great architecture - but no staff on site
The property is awesome - nicely updated mid-century modern, perfect for a Palm Springs visit. Rooms are completely new - nice new trendy bathrooms, great furniture and bedding. Great, brand-new pool area. Excellent restaurant and small bar on site (managed separately from the hotel). Location is OK (north of town) but adjacent to nice residential areas. What sucks, however, is Sonder - the automated check-in app (the hotel is not staffed at all). My TV did not work and they couldn't fix it remote. You have to request housekeeping via the app (which never came, BTW). It's probably the future, but a really strange experience to stay in an unstaffed hotel. If you're uncomfortable with that, do not stay here

Get a room on the second floor
Everything about my stay was good, but if you’re staying on the first floor you better hope your upstairs neighbor walks and talks very quietly. Very thin walls and ceiling. And especially in my case because I had to wake up early, the spring breakers partying above me were very noisy, so I didn’t get much sleep.
