Sol Oasis Marrakech - All Inclusive

"Last minute booking for a week in the sun, the hotel was lovely very clean and well looked after. The all inclusive option was ok but not the best I have had. The drinks options were limited and the outside bar was not managed as well as it could have been, everyone had to queue and not enough staff available. The bar staff I didn't find friendly at all they were very rude at times. The staff inside the restaurant were great very helpful. The food was good as it was all local dishes which was nice to see instead of the boring English food you normally see. The room was small but it had everything you needed and cleaned very well. I requested a quiet room at check in but was shown to a room next to the bar and outside entertainment area which was not suitable so they kindly found me a quiet area which worked out better for me. The resort is not big but it has a good pool and sports facilities and is away from the main busy areas. They had a bus that took you in and back subject to the times. We did use the Spa but the pool was empty so we had a massage, that was just ok it was a bit rough for me personally and I didn't like the staff waiting outside the room for a tip. It Wasn't a cheap massage. It was a clean, well-looked-after hotel with good facilities and evening entertainment was ok and everything stopped at 11am. Worth a visit if you have children but not sure if I would go back. The resort seems to favor French people better than English which is just my view"

"The hotel was lovely but what made the hotel superb was the staff. There are many and please forgive me if i forget anyone, from the porters, to the chamber maids, to the restaurant and pool staff and the reception staff. Thank you to the wonderful staff in reception, i forget the two lovely ladies name who arranged transport and late checkout for us. They truly went out of their way and we felt really special. Abdellah and Brahim and the other staff at reception, nothing was too much. The staff at the restaurant , the lovely Malak and Soifiane who saw to us daily and Halim too was lovely. To be honest everyone was. Chef Fatima was always making sure service ran smoothly and even one of the chef behind the counters (I believe he was one of the main chefs) actually looked for something for my husband and sent it over to our table."

"Fabulous hotel. The all inclusive food at the restaurant had a wide and varied selection. The pools were very clean and there was plenty of sunbeds. The Spa had a wide range of treatments. The 50 minute 'Relaxing Massage' was excellent. The Spa was clean and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and always had a smile. There was nothing negative about my stay. I would highly recommend."
