While the hotel has been beautifully renovated and is in very good condition, it felt more like a generic luxury hotel and lacked the Sicilian character we were hoping for. We would have really liked to have a coffee maker in the room. We were not interested in the full breakfast, but would have liked to have coffee in our rooms without getting fully dressed, leaving the building and visiting the hotel's other building across the street just to have a cup of coffee.
