"there were no surprises here. This is kind of an iconic inn. The mattress and pillows were just OK. The room smell a little musty. There is no thermostat although the fireplace generates a lot of heat. The amenities are terrible. I wouldn't stay for more than two nights."

"This was the absolute worst "hotel" I have ever experienced in my 40+ years of traveling. This place should be condemned. The toilet was dirty, the shower nozzle was covered in rust, there was no lighting over the bathroom sink "vanity" (which was open underneath and all the rusty, gross pipes were exposed), the place was dark, dingy and we didn't even want to sit on the beds. We weren't in the room 5 minutes before we walked out with our luggage and found another place to stay. This place...

"Laundry service was accessible but the Machines were dirty. dirty. Dryer filters were digusting. They need to take a high speed hose to all the sidewalks and clean them up. Towels were very cheap and thin. Garbage cans outside needed to be emptied. ay "

"First time in the area. Staff was GREAT!!! Friendly, courteous and helpful. Room was great. Used the jacuzzi late night. A few others doing the same. Absolutley loved the place and will stay again if/when we are back in the area."
