The room had good AC, a fridge, and a small balcony with a nice view of the Basilica of Saint Anthony. It was clean and comfortable, and appeared to have been updated recently. Despite overlooking the street it was very quiet at night, though the church bells will probably wake you in the morning. There are many restaurants, cafes, gelatarias, and shops nearby, and Padova is a very charming little city with some amazing art.
Note: We switched rooms because we wanted a double bed, but were initially assigned a room with three twin beds. The initial room appeared to be a little more dated, with no fridge, and it overlooked the courtyard. Despite the hotel being full, the staff (particularly Giorgia) were very friendly and helpful in accommodating our request.
